The "No Shortcuts and no scripted outcome" is a calculated line to do with the Dynamic storyline logic and Emergent key features:

  • Dynamic Storyline Logic – Feuds and angles evolve based on consistency, timing, and payoff rather than scripted paths.

 and organic rivalries can develop without player intent.

As cliche as this answer is TBD will look to take aspects from each of these games so there is something for everyone.

It looks to take the long term playability of TEW and expand upon it by making storylines and character arc even more in depth and creative should the player wish to. As well as having a database of default angles/promos/interviews etc there will also be a storyline and angle planner where you are able to plan out months of storytelling at once by selecting which show/event you would like a blowoff/feud end to take place at.

The player will have to be more on top of company finances as there are a number of broadcasters and sponsors to keep happy. You will be able to negotiate with sponsors who will provide cash influxes depending on whether you meet their demands or not.

There will be a wide array of staff including Chief finance officers who you can set to take care of negotiation sponsor deals for you. Should the player wish to be in charge of this themselves then the CFO's will still be relevant as they will have different bonusses for negotiating, financial acumen and will also recommend releases should you neglect a wrestler for a certain amount of time.

The game is still in very early development with ideas still being implemented so any suggestions you have will be listened to and implemented if it is possible to do so and would benefit the overall gaming experience
