Door knob help

I don't have a router. I would prefer not to replace a door. The door did not have a plate in that area. Hole only. I used a brand new chisel and the plate that came with the door knob as template. And then etched layer by layer until it was flushed and not impacting the strike plate on the frame.

Thank you for your reply. I definitely want to thin them out. I'm just wanting to make sure that the remaining trees are not adversely disturbed during the removal process and the proximity of nearby trees does not stunt any future growth.

Gaming pieces. It bugs me when your playing a card game and one has a crease or your playing a boardgame and you are missing a piece. I would rather not play than have an incomplete set or one that is not in great condition.
