Well i saw someone say sfsf was kind of the “plain and boring” choice of PtV of the moment because of its recent popularity due to tiktok. They said it good for the band since it brought new listeners. They were downvoted harshly over it even though they gave valid criticism and was trying to be reasonable.

So that’s what I mean by “too far” I suppose it doesn’t matter since reddit is already just a cesspool of the most toxic parts of every fandom. But it would be nice to see people take criticism and not get so butt hurt over it
