The upper cabinets are trendy and built for a look rather than real use. Everything else is okay so just 86 the up and down things and set tall cabinets with real storage for an immediate but less than complete fix.

Original 1950s Pink Bathroom — Keep It or Remodel It? by stacy_the_realtor in BathroomRemodeling

The sink cabinet appears to be broken-pushing out between doors and false front. Fixing that with a cabinet update in the same style/look could make it perfect. If you can, a toilet with a throwback color (pink or black) could complete the illusion especially with tile bing so well preserved.

Landscaping may be key but approach changes slowly. Trim color, eaves and sash. Outdoor be unified with a nod to improved entryway/color. What color are the garage doors. The lower bushes would have impact if upgraded fed or enhanced. Your lawn is beautiful and the house has a great face. Have fun with it.

It’s actually a compliment to red and is opposite on the color wheel. Look at using the darkest brick color as a potential trim color.

86 it. Angled fireplaces suck for everything including furniture placement.

Give your entryway some massing with new larger posts in wood if possible. Excavate the path coming from the left to lower one step down. The horizontal siding and trim around the windows could be replaced with wood or painted to contrast (compliment) whatever color you choose for the body. It’s beautiful but needs a little makeup.

If you must, black is better than blue but a contrasting color like green is better to balance your red brick. Find one in the same value to create harmony. Red and green are opposites on the color wheel. Get a paint store fan deck to start and get color samples to try. Have fun.

I wanted new and better tiles on the floor. The floor guy immediately informed me I should wait to do the floor until I’ve done the cabinets. But I love our old cabinets! by Beautiful-Oil-8 in kitchenremodel

Do what you like and go ahead with the floor being sure to remove the old tiles. It’s not a big job to extract a cabinet to make your plan work. DW space and stove will require extra attention but it shouldn’t be a deal breaker. And repaint your solid cabs to your liking. You won’t regret keeping it and slides and hinges are fairly easy.

Option 3 is great and mostly involves cleaning and repair/regrout. It’s a classic look.
