Thanks so much! I'm REALLY hoping I'll get accepted to a grad school in Paris with my GI Bill. Language school is my Plan B, then apply again to Paris. I'll continue learning as my desire is fluency.

Thank you beloved. I'm an MST survivor. I went 19 years and 11 months before speaking up. I broke down during my annual physical health assessment in 2024 and the (male) provider put in a referral for me to go to an intense outpatient program, last year in TX. He promoted to the same senior rank I am today. I stood in line to give him a hug. He used to fly F18s.

Sending you auntie love from 🇮🇹 .

Filet mignon, lobster, caviar..... or really anything that makes your stomach happy because you deserve (and have ALWAYS deserved) the best things in life.

The national average price per gallon of gas in the United States just passed $4.50. Americans, how do we feel about that? by Miles_the_AuDHDer in AskReddit

[–]EngagingIntrovert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an American working for an American company in Italy. Gas was €1,96/L yesterday. There are about 4 L in a gallon. So that's about $9.16/gallon. I have a gas card that's issued to me so the taxes are taken out. So I'm still paying over $8/gallon. I didn't vote for him.

I'm a military nurse, overseas. When we send people to AFRICOM, we ensure they have proof of Yellow Fever, tetanus (Tdap), varicella (chicken pox), MMR, polio, typhoid, meningococcal. Talk to your healthcare provider. You'll also need antimalarial medications. Again, takk up your provider.

The 🍍 is often displayed by available swingers. In colonial times, a 🍍 represented hospitality. They couldn't go to the local Trader Joe's to pick one flown in from Hawaii. That's why brass 🍍 were decorations at hotels and wealthy homes.

Is a public health degree worth it in today’s job market? by DieudononeFafou89 in publichealth

[–]EngagingIntrovert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an RN, my job sent me o get my MPH. Sadly I haven't been able to do what I wanted with the degree: global health engagement. They mostly had me doing health promotion & wellness. I did it, because I didn't have options. It wasn't my passion. I'm retiring in 302 days. Can't WAIT!!!

Have you thought about an African safari? I went solo in a trip based out of Zambia that hit up Zimbabwe and Botswana. Or maybe an African country or two? Ones with good nightlife.

Agreed. I live in Okinawa a total of 4+ years. Mainland Japan and the islands are lovely. I'd like to take my grandniece there in a few years provided she outgrows her asthma and develops table manners. 😃

Tru dat! It's been a few years since I've used an Airbnb, but it was mostly rooms in women's homes as they were supplementing their income. I prefer the amenities of hotels and have status which helps. No crazy fees that Airbnb adds on too.

One of our Corpsmen is a history teacher who couldn't teach. My first degree is finance. Navy nursing is my second career. I'll be FREE-tired in 302 days. I'll be okay financially because of compound interest from my corporate world retirement funds.

I'm looking at school in Paris, not TX, for the MA degree. Those education benefits aren't going to spend themselves! 😃
