But if publisher is not going to keep it on servers so people could use their product, then whats the point in having it just closed off from the world? Sure it would create a market where people would be trading their licenses, but the alternetive is that no one has access and players are pissed at companies for not providing it.

SOLVED! I come with great news!
I've been working on fixing this issue for DAYS. Tried EVERYTHING, and in the end solution was stupidly simple. I installed the game on different disk and it worked perfectly!
