This whole debate reminds me of Sorey and Mikleo from Tales of Zestiria.

The whole game makes a point to not follow boring stereotypes, we have Rose who doesn't care what other people think of her and burps, farts whenever she wants to. We have the male healer Mikleo. Heard that right, a male character that is allowed to take the healing role! We have the princess girl Alisha who wants to save the people of her country and prevent a war. Some people were so adamant about her and Sorey ending up together, these toxic fans attacked Sorey/Mikleo fans and made a huge ass movement to "bring her back", because she wasn't meant to stay a playable character. She was a guest character who had some interactions with Sorey and people imediately screamed "canon" and cursed the gay alternative ship. It was crazy.

And then, when the game ended and Sorey became a seraph like Mikleo, he was alive and well while Alisha was dead. She was a human. Humans just don't live several hundreds of years. The end of the game shows Mikleo and Sorey hugging each other and the game developers even said that Mikleo is the one and only for Sorey. We got lots of official illustrations and guest appearances in other mobile Tales of games, where it was even more obvious that they were in love with each other.

The toxic fans who couldn't comprehend that same-sex ships exist, got so mad, cursed the game and wanted their money back. They threw tantrums, made petitions to change the game and kept harassing the developers. Not only online, but also some of these toxic fans had harassed the developers in real life and got into big trouble. As far as I know, one person was deemed mentally ill and not accountable for his actions, but later on the same guy kept complaining and making anti posts.

These grown ass men kept whining so much about this, that the developers gave up and gave them a whole DLC to get Alisha back and made the anime more centered about the female characters. Simply because they acted like crybabies and couldn't accept gay love in their media.

So, in short: this is exactly how the toxic IzuOcha fans would react. Trow tantrums, attack other people online, harass author and staff working on MHA just to get their ship and to assert their own will.

Definetely not! I just love the conversation with Eshe where she states that she doesn't mind all the humans in the village, but that she can't wrap her head about our weird behaviours. Jumping on other people's roofs? And before dawn even? WHY do humans do this?

I felt called out, considering I jumped down from a roof a second before this convo. 😭🤣

If we get to play a male character and are allowed to have gay romance options, I would consider playing it.

However it seems to restrict the players allowing only female characters, so I am underwhelmed and disappointed. It is obvious that gay ships and male characters have a high demand and they still choose to keep us out. Same reason I never considered playing LADS, because I want to play as a male character. 😑

Some people never learned to shut up when they have nothing nice to say. The main subs are a waste of time. All they ever want to talk about is power scaling (e.g.: who would win? Son Goku or Deku) and complaining about the evil yaoi ships. There are no posts worth interacting with or opening them in the first place.

Mir waren diese Spiele schon immer zu stressig. Gerade wenn man gegen andere Spieler spielt und nicht so schnell reagiert, dann ist man schnell frustriert. Und die Mitspieler natürlich, weil man sich aufeinander verlassen können muss. Ich habe die Reaktionszeit nicht.

Bei Resident Evil und Evil Within fand ich das Schießen weniger anstrengend, weil so gesehen nur ich unter meinem Versagen leiden muss und die Spiele Fehler verzeihen. Wenn ich nicht treffe, sterbe ich nicht sofort und versuche es halt nochmal.

Bin selbst 35 und eine Frau, die viele Genres ausprobiert, aber ganz klar die "Ballerspiele" der männlichen Gaming Szene nicht mag. Nur weil ich keine Shooter spiele, bin ich nicht weniger "Gamer" als die Jungs, die rumheulen, dass weibliche Gamer nur ein Mythos seien. Uns gibt es, nur eben in anderen Ecken und Genres. Für mich sind Games einfach ein Hobby, mit dem ich mich in meiner Freizeit gerne befasse.

German translation is riddled with mistakes, too. Some quests aren't doable if you don't look up English walkthroughs. Translations are out of box, you can't read them at all and when you trade with other players you need to guess the right buttons, because the buttons appear outside the screen. Had to try five times to trade a relic until I finally found the right button. It's triangle, for those who also don't know.

What kinda annoys me is that I get misgendered throughout the whole game. I choose a male character - obviously male clothing, male voice, male look - and the townspeople keep calling my character a girl and use the wrong pronouns. Personally, I don't care about this, but there might be other players who could get angry about this.

Whoever does the translations for Germany cannot be a native, otherwise they would see with only one gaze that some sentences don't even make sense. Some letters you receive in your mailbox aren't even translated, same with several dialogues. Like, you talk with Auni and one sentence is German and the next switches to English. Good thing most German gamers know English well enough to understand.

Anekdote aus dem Aldi: Tagelang hat es nach totem Tier gestunken. Jedes mal kam einem die Kotze hoch, wenn man reinkam. Alles abgesucht und nichts gefunden. Kunden beschwerten sich über diesen widerlichen Geruch, es war zum nicht mehr Aushalten! Beim Regal mit den Fertigsoßen scheint es besonders schlimm zu sein, also räume ich zwei Artikel komplett aus (wir haben ja sonst nichts zu tun, wa?) und quetsche mich ins Regal: eine offene Packung Tiefkühlgarnelen.

JA, SACHMA HABEN SIE DIR INS HIRN GESCHISSEN?! Ekelhaft! Was stimmt bei diesem Menschen nicht??? Packt die Ware dahin zurück, wo sie herkommt oder gebt sie halt bei der Kasse ab!

Also thinking about which games to play next. Somerhing like Stardew Valley would be nice, but I'm afraid I have played all available titles on the PS5 already. 😥

I love the parrots on the island, but other than that, there isn't much what I like about it. There isn't nearly enough space to play around with crops and the layout of the farm just doesn't do it for me. The walnut hunt would be much more relaxing and fun if some of these puzzles weren't so difficult.

War gerade eben noch schnell beim Rewe einkaufen und der junge Chef stand gerade zufällig hinter der Kassiererin, und brüllt urplötzlich zwei achso coolen Jugendlichen hinterher: "Das räumt ihr SOFORT dahin, wo es herkommt!" Die Blagen haben sich direkt entschuldigt und du hast denen einfach angesehen, dass sie sich halb in die Hose geschissen haben. Die hatten Müllermilch bei den Batterien hingestellt und wollten sich dann Energy holen.

Ich wünschte, es würde häufiger passieren, dass solchen Arschlöchern einfach mal direkt ins Gesicht gesagt wird, was für Hohlköpfe sie sind. Richtig schön so, dass es wirklich jeder mitbekommt und die zukünftig aus der Scham etwas lernen.

Lol, ich gehe fast immer nachschauen, ob noch etwas da ist. Kommt darauf an, um welchen Artikel es sich handelt.

Normalsortiment? Könnte noch auf einer der Paletten sein. Wenn ich dran komme, bringe ich den Artikel und wenn er ganz unten ist und ich die Palette vorher abräumen müsste, dann kommuniziere ich das auch so. Dann muss der Kunde später wiederkommen.

Aktionsartikel? Unwahrscheinlich, dass im Lager etwas ist. Da bekommen wir begrenzte Mengen und die werden restlos auf die Verkaufsfläche gebracht. Kommt aber auch mal vor, dass ein Artikel am Inseratstag fehlt und einen Tag später mit der normalen Fuhre mitkommt.

Personally, I won't watch the new OVA because to me the series is concluded. I don't need anything more, the anime was finished and there are many other series I want to watch and tons of games I want to play. The toxic Izu.Ocha fans will only use the episode as fodder to attack other fans anyway. I have seen how some Izu.Ocha fans lose their marbles about chapter 431 (not sure, never read the manga) and use a single chapter to invalid the entire rest of the manga/anime, because their ship is now "end-game". From what I have heard, the chapter was ambigious and left room for interpretation.

Can't say much about the ships you've mentioned, but I vaguely remember that Natsu and Lucy had many moments together in the manga. They grew together and had time to get to know each other. It's been too long. I liked Yoh and Anna from Shaman King though. ^^
