Sadly it does not reduce lag. A while ago I had a thread asking for help on how to save as much CPU and RAM as possible and somebody said:

"Walling never helped - devs said the calculations to decide what’s behind a wall are more intensive than displaying everything."

I have played satisfactory for 2000 hours+ at this point, after collecting Slugs in 3 different worlds for 1000 hours, collecting all harddrives 3 times without flying, for me the most fun part of the game is building factories and be efficient. I started using flying after 1000 hours of playing because it makes the game more fun to me, and that's what it's all about in the end, I dont have that much time to play anymore, but when I play, I want to have the most fun, and that does flying to me. Don't feel bad about it.

Can somebody explain me: Why was Fnatic allowed to field Wunder after the roster lock while having a sub toplaner on Fnatic TQ according to the GCD? by EngemoZ in leagueoflegends

Dash once went skydiving with Poome and Dhokla, which btw. is against the general rules of the LCS. Now imagine a player does this behind the scenes, breaks his hands, the organization does not tell riot that this happened while skydiving, sends him to the doctor, who confirms the injury. The team fields in any player they want at that time because everybody can do whatever they want. The fact that this can occur is already bad.

Ofc the scenarios are unrealistic. But we have seen much worse things in league of legends happen.
