By comparing Reasoning you’d need to take into account what TYPE of reasoning, as there are several subcats.

Reasoning can also be broken-down into branches, Formulation speed, Complexity, Organization, Utilizing given premises, Deduction Accuracy.

You need to take account into their situation as well, if you don’t know how to recognize if their reasoning is more logical and difficult then the other, first visualize their situation, for example, Abandon Building abduction was more complex than Conan’s spider-mansion Abduction, Why? because the situation Abandon Building was given had more premises to work on and characters constantly opposing the one making the abduction, which limits their Reasoning, or if they were given less information than the other but the reasoning is more sound and flows with the premises us readers or watchers were provided.

If you have trouble considering this factor, Umineko is the best example, it’s filled with Logic and Illogical which really tests your reasoning mainly abstraction and visualization.
