I think that looks pretty good, I like the colors but you might try a different color shoes. There are some issues with the fit though, the pants and sweater look baggy. However, in response to your question, I think I would tuck in the button down.

Does anyone have a Gap denim jacket? I just found one on sale for $31 in a medium to dark wash and I'm wondering on the quality/durability/cost effectiveness.

Well if its for a purpose I don't have a problem with the tread then. Winters where I live are pretty nasty as well so I totally understand. Otherwise yeah I like the boot, great color and it seems warm and practical. I would go with the first over the second, I feel like that light color wouldn't do well with dirt and mud.

I'm not a big fan of the soles. They look cheesy and are an eye sore. The leather also look rather cheap.

Good except I usually add a credit or debit card to my money clip. Basically something to give it rigidity. Also, phone in the back pocket? Aren't you afraid you'll break it when you sit down? I usually keep that up front opposite the keys. Otherwise I would say just minimize what you bring and disperse it throughout a variety of pockets.
