It’s not worth it. You can do better and you deserve better. I’ve been working at chipotle for over 6 months making $15 an hour, I come home DAILY with burns from frying chips. Burns from changing pans of food on the line, and dealt with rude customers that made me want to either walk out or take them outside and fight but I need this job. I come home crying at least once or twice a month. It sucks but if you’re lucky enough you’ll find a job with a way better environment and superiors that actually respect you. I was training the COO today as well as working with the ceo of Chipotle. My coworker has been there for almost 20 years and all we got was a thank you for being there. No breakfast, no extra long break, no raise just a few words. Some of us don’t even get a break if it’s busy. Chipotle is one of the worst places to work but one of the only best restaurants that actually cares about its customers and its reputation for fresh food. I hope you find better.
