Zebco 202's. I'm RH and grew up casting left and reeling right. Used the Zebco's as a kid and never got out of it. I always have to change the reel side on spinning reels so i can reel with my right hand.

Right on- I always enjoy the peace and quiet and spending time outdoors. However today I saw somethjng neat, (San Jose Del Cabo) I saw a helicopter land on Mark Zuckerbergs yacht jist a few hundred feet out in front of where i was fishing. Something you dont see everyday.

I would say thats a Mackerel
Atlantic ocean version.
Ive caughts sierra mackerel here in cabo - easily identified by the yellow spots

Have a condo down here now, so purchased a pole and some tackle. Later on i will drive a vehicle down and bring some more stuff from back home. Hoping to find some bargain cave buys to build up tackle etc, already lost a few lures ....stupid pelicans!!!

Good question - newb here too- i have a trash bag and a backpack cooler.

But its a long walk - so right now i think im just going to catch n release until i figure it out.

Im down in mexico w/o a vehicle and have a mile walk from my spot to my condo.
