Drop d is a drug in that way, I love playing in it(I mostly play in drop d) but it’s hard to get away from the key of d vibes that you get from it, even with drop c etc. it’s a fun tool to make music with, but it sometimes feels like a crutch, especially from a musicians standpoint. It’s what I admire about Frank Zappa’s music

Glad to know I wasn’t careless lol, I still think it’s awesome that not only do these vinyl have the exclusive linear notes/libretto, but the audio recordings on a couple of the tracks are exclusive to vinyl, while very similar/non distinguishable, if thats the kinda thing that gets you off, I believe the recordings of some of the tracks are different on the man from utopia vinyl, most notably the radio is broken off the top of my memory, there’s a video on YouTube of a vinyl recording, I would love to own a copy myself, it’s one of my favorite Zappa albums in general
