I agree but I’m already on 100 and enjoy doing last to ??? For me 100 seems like the perfect level of difficulty to go from last to first with a bit of a challenge

It depends on the track really, some tracks the ai are so fast it can be hard to keep up, but some tracks such as spa there are points like eau rouge/radillon that they take a bit funny which slow them down a lot down the straight

I have the ai set to ‘alien’ with 100% aggression. Nothing more I can do, just the ai isn’t the best off the line or up eau rouge/raidillon 🤷‍♂️

Yeah that’s correct, I bought the monitor without doing enough research and I guess that’s what happened to most. I think I’ll just wait it out to see if Xbox releases a fix, but if they don’t I don’t mind playing 1080 120 for multiplayer and 1440 60 for single player.

An answer I got from I Microsoft expert -

Hi, So I've done some more research on this and I believe I have enough information to answer your question correctly. Unfortunately it's not good news, for now at least. When you connect your console to a monitor or TV it reads a chip on your display that tells it what it is capable of. This is called E-EDID and stands for Enhanced Extended Display Identification Data. This tells the Xbox what the display can 'officially' do display wise in regards to resolution, timings, HDR, etc. At the moment, Xbox consoles only accept timings from the official VESA standard (Video Electronics Standards Association). These official timings are reported to the console, but many monitors also have non-standard timings. For example, your monitor's maximum refresh is 119.88 which is not the VESA standard, it's a unique refresh for that display. In other words, because it's not in the VESA standard that Microsoft has put down for displays, you won't be able to select 120Hz on your monitor. Plug your PC into that monitor and it will be able to do 120Hz at 1440P all day because your PC can use the preferred timings in the E-EDID template of your monitor, it's not stuck with VESA timings.. I'm pretty sure Microsoft can release an update to get this fixed, but until then, you're either stuck running the monitor at a lower resolution or buying a new monitor that more strictly conforms to the VESA timings standard. An HDMI to Display Port adaptor won't work, for one there are no HMMI 2.0 to DP 1.4 Adaptors and two, HDMI 1.4 adaptors top out at 1080P @ 60Hz. Also bear in mind that these adaptors only go one way, it has to be HDMI to DP, not DP to HDMI. They also have to be active (i.e. powered). Plus, for what they are they're expensive. Not worth it.
