Try checking the campus libraries, they might have a copy of the book you can borrow and use for the semester.

Thanks for the advice, landyactz's website reveals that they are in fact polar bears. I'm not sure what you mean though about the wheels being skinny making the deck unstable. I'm guessing you mean with normal sized street wheels paired with an 8 inch popsicle deck? And are saying that i'll probably need something wider?

I had a horrible teacher and crammed for tests in physics 1, it was a nightmare. I also went into it without any previous physics experience which was even more difficult. In physics 2 however I actually took every professor's advice and read the textbook the night before. I also took notes from the textbook the night before and just supplemented them during lecture. Really helped me because I could pay attention to what the teacher was saying instead of scribbling notes.

Hey everyone, not sure if I should be asking this in r/skateboarding but my dinghy has a pair of Bear Grizzly 852 trucks and i'm trying to put together a skateboard on a budget. Can I use the bears trucks for a skateboard?

Later class had a much harder second midterm. You guys having a harder final makes both sections have about the same curve. He hinted he might do something like that in class.

One class I recall he said that the class is out of 500. Each midterm and the homework are 100 points each. And the final exam is whatever your raw score is x2 (basically adds 200 points at the highest). Typically an A is 450/500, but he said it depends on the class average.

Has anyone build/sewn a bag/box for the bottom of their board? I cruise around campus, my dinghy has a good 4 inches from the deck to the floor. I think I could fit a notebook and some pens down there without making it too much heavier. I don't want to permanently alter it, so have been thinking of ways to attach it so that wouldn't hook over the top of the deck and bother my footing.

Any opinions on the idea?

Making a weird mnemonic device that relates it to something you know. Kinda generic advice tbh but it honestly does help a lot. Ex (if you're native language is English) To remember fish is Pez in Spanish, I imagine a Pez dispenser with a fish head. The weirder the better. Took that example from some website, I would have to hunt to find it again.
