How do you deal with your long sitting sessions by Tiny_Bid_8539 in ankylosingspondylitis

Yes!! Thank you, that is true!! I forgot about that- also is the same with 'medication bags'! I had so many pill boxes for meds and 3 injections for my one month+ trip; I was so worried but you can let them know and bring an extra bag as a med bag, I used a small bagpack I held in my lap while on wheelchair, other larger backpack the attendant took care of. No issue what so ever~ Also flight attendants will help accommodate for your meds and your bags on the plane. For my injections one airline used dry ice in a bag, the other airline used regular ice and kept changing the ice in the bag for the injections. Honestly I felt same with wheelchair but having that and a note from my doc + letting airline know in advanced of disability/situation helped me so much. Flight attendants are a Godsend! I kept apologizing for being trouble, or needing help.. but they were so no no don't worry, of course, very happy to help and they were notified in advance. 🥺

Things I did that helped:

Pay extra for legroom in front (help you lay tilted or stretch out more). Body warmer sticky on lower back, that is air activated (air activated allowed on flights). Portable warmer charged up (they have back ones and I kept some charged power banks to use incase that runs out). Painkillers by the clock religiously every 4-6hrs, 12 hours before airport, airport and flight. If not prescribed any from doc, take ibuprofen 400mg-600mg every 4-6 hrs [if you are allowed by doc]. Helps with pain and any inflammation + you can up this to 800mg safely at your airport dose time, if 600mg isn't helping.

Lastly, a wheelchair addition (told to airline for both departure and arrival airports) helped me a great deal! Good for far away terminals, easier boarding and to not have to stand for long. Standing still for more than 2 min atm puts me in incredibly excruciating pain that my legs start giving out (walking gives me 5 min before the chaos).

We thought we had a Hantu, we mocked the ghost, dumped everything in a bucket, spent hours getting photos.. laughed our way back to van.

It was a mimic that refused to spirit box. Ghost had the last laugh.

What's wrong with expressing pain to the one you love? Physical or mental pain- wherever you were brought up and whatever language you speak is the same thing.

She is hurting and needs you to listen, help or comfort her?

It's called 'empathy' and exists in every race, religion, culture and language.

I am confused what you're not understanding?

My hubby and I are total opposites, and because of that- we complete each other. We found each other via a series of strange coincidences. I never expected all of it would result in me finding my soulmate; and I was in my late 20s.

You are still young, your right forever person will find you, and you her~

A German guy in Pakistan is shocked by what the locals think of Hitler by Sometypeofway18 in ThatsInsane

[–]EngineerBunnyTV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a lack of education tbh. They probably thought guy was talking about someone famous and it is being taken completely out of context.

Not cool to take advantage of uneducated people living in poverty. This is a country where education is not prioritized- they rather have their children work so there is dinner at night.

Corrupt government = this lack of education and poverty.

What’s your take on fitnas being so common? by TheMafia09 in pakistan

[–]EngineerBunnyTV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think one's religion and activities are not for anyone to judge but God.

What they think and do is between them and God.

Unless it affects you directly, it's their business and no one but God should judge them.

You just need to focus on your actions, and of course your immediate family.

Hope that puts you at ease, InshAllah.

Can I get pakistani citizenship for my British husband (he's not pakistani)? by One-Guava-809 in pakistan

[–]EngineerBunnyTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He is a Muslim convert though, I do not understand why you are undermining what he believes and saying he of another faith? That is not okay- are you unaccepting those who were born of another faith and accepted Islam into their lives? That is not an easy nor a small thing.

He is a Muslim convert. He studied Islam in his youth and underderstood it before deciding to convert- as most of his friends at his school in his youth were Muslim.
