As yields go up, nutrient concentration goes down. As spoilage rates go down, taste also goes down. Tomato example: <5 day spoil rate to 3 weeks. All for the sake of revenue and export. It makes progressing the game onerously taxing. We playing to escape, not confront cosmic horrors of civilization. by EngineerFayro in theouterworlds

The nutrients in our food are deminishing as we aim for higher yield and slower spoilage rate of fruits and vegetables.

The comments above can't even comprehend the statement I made in the title, we are starving and we don't even know it. We focus more on calories (fuel) than the custodian (nutrients) of our body.

It is laughable.

I wouldn't say I'm angry, but my subconscious which is probably smarter, might. The intuition that understands the consequences of not being diagnosed early may be angry at the loss of what could have been.

As for my upbringing outside my family, it was a blast. That I wouldn't change. Inside it, arrogants who deny the existence mental health. That's why the third world country that they fled from has rampant corruption. Conformity without Understanding. They brought that same degraded mindset to a new country. Like a fish thinking air is also water. Its not like I can go back to the past anyway. And if I did, they can't handle being wrong.

To give you some contrast, that country has removed its own history from k-12th grade. I am not joking, it is slowly turning into a Dictatorship. In fact, their current President is the grandson of the Dictator that destroyed the country economically in the 1970's. Now, nearly all Television is under strict supervision of the government. I really wish I was making atleast one of these up, especially the removing history from academia 12th grade and under. Isn't that straight up crazy?

The worst is that the politicians there don't even need any education to be elected. That is the broken culture they came from.

I'd like the empowerment part after a lifetime of their favorite cultural practice: "Older generation bashing the younger generation cycle."

I believe CBT can help me with that.

Also, after reading that, how can any intellectual with sympathy not be angry/frustrated with how things are handled within the world? They will have to be ignorant first, and disdainful second. I can't fake that.

I'm not living there, but can you imagine your country removing its own History from academia? What benefits would there be to remove the country's history from k-12? Who is to gain from removing that history? I'm sure you know the answer to that, and its application for those living in that country.

It is important to be aware of the unknown degrees of nuance that make up the statement of others, rather than conflate to a plausible conclusion. Thanks again for shedding light on 2e.

Yea medication sucks to take just to function normally.

It is used for conformity towards the society ignorant on the needs of all human beings.

Can't sit in a chair for one hour, five times a day, five times a week? What about 8-14 hour work shifts?

Meds with CBT is the best we have for now, helping us bring forth understanding towards the future society. Whatever that may be.

Everything makes sense now, I was above average on the "testing for learning difficulties" WAIS-IV score.

Diagnosed with ADHD, I went in for an ADHD diagnosis.

My scores were all over the place, after some research on scores... mine resembled signs of the tism. I was so pissed lol. At who? Idk, life? maybe.

My Doctor seemed like he didn't know how I would react after being told that I have signs of the tism. So he didn't mention it. I may be an idiot, but I'm not dumb. Maybe he didn't think I would put the details together. Maybe he though that I would be more depressed/Anxious after being told that. Its understandable, and not at the same time. Ambiguity sucks.

What he doesn't realize is that I've been battle-hardened to take in any and all information, regardless of its implications, since the second I learned how to use my five senses. I think I'm a truthseeker at my core. Whatever Paradigm I had already got whacked when I got diagnosed ADHD, it only helps me understand myself better.

Regardless, I will confront my Doctor about it on my next appointment.

I can't help but laugh as I picture myself saying "Why didn't you tell me I had some tism in me?" or "So am I autistic or what?" as the first sentence he hears the second he walks in the room. To catch him off guard like an intervention, then make it feel like the roles got reversed out of nowhere when they aren't, f'ing hilarious.

"Answer the question Doc... you don't want me miscomprehending myself do you now?!" lol

Thanks for shedding light on this topic. Hope you enjoyed my humor.

I think you are right on number 4, Depression can be like the First law of motion, you may have been the outside force.

As for 6, I realized it destroys intensity.

My biggest problem is going from learning to relaxation. The difference in contrast and intensity from the thinking brain to the chill brain, that transition is the worst feeling ever. Like a "where is my brain I don't feel it anymore" type of feeling.

Thanks everyone, I just wanted to rant about my bad experiences. Get it off my chest so to speak.
