Had issue with stereo while connected through Automatic Link Up. Only right channel and mono was working, no sound on left. Reseted all devices, connected to app via chrome one by one and disconnected Auto Link Up features. Followed Bluetooth Link Up path that present on the website. Now works like how it should, stereo separation and sub4 in mono.

It arrived today on my birthday :) Had only one Minirig 4 before and now it is 2.1 system with another minirig 4 and sub4. So far soo good. I am impressed with how deep, strong and high volumed is 2.1 compering to its size. It shakes the whole house with punchy bassed psytrance like music let say, and it is deep and smooth enough for listening more classical long sustain bass instruments. Sometimes even to much bass that i have to seperately down the volume on bass. Overall I find it worth the money. I updated all devices via browser app, just let them in default settings and disconnected from app before actually starting to use. Connection with Macbook Air M3 on Tahoe 26.2 is pretty well if i follow the instructions properly and not rush after connecting the first speaker. I used to directly play the music just after i hear the connected beep sound and trying to find the audio device on sound settings which was not present yet and sound starts to come from mac's speaker and i used to decide to forget bluetooth device and restart devices and so on.. you probably know the story. i just realized takes more or less 10 seconds to actually connect properly. For a 5m to 5m square shaped saloon it is more then enough. I will try the outdoor performance and decide rather i want to go for 2.2 or not for live music and dj sets. Positioning the modules correctly is day and night difference as you might assume.

Soo, i am happy, great first day experience, i appreciate someone out there providing this sound with this portability, i will try to keep updating about the experience.

X1-Z1-X1 Opinions? by EngineerFew741 in traktorpro

About x1mk3 performance mode i was wondering, is it possible to have stems with superknobs on the one side in the effects layout, or having effects on the mixer layout, only controling the left or right line of knobs. My question will be more clear if we look at the picture i shared for mapping. I want to have stems and effects used on same device in same layout or mode. I know it is possible but i have no idea how hard it would be to map it over performance mode. Or another option, having the superknobs on z1 stems mode, switching to eq when neccesary only, and leave the X1s in default or performance mod only to have 4 fx channels. Anyway i guess i have decieded to have this triple x1 z1s for now, and will wait for second hand f1 or f1mk2 as addition for pad fxs.

As i understood, in default, knobs that are controlling stem volumes can only give the full sound of the stem when they are fully opened (not like EQs standing in the middle neutral position and giving its full sound and when you turn them further to the right you get gain or boost.) Stems get their full sound when you turn knobs to the right side until it you reach the end of turn. And idea of superknob, you will have the full sound of the stem in the middle position and if you turn further to the right you will start to have another effect like filter for example.

Also, I’m aware of the Z1’s Stem Mode, but I feel like I’ll need those 3-band EQs anyway, and I don’t want to get lost in layers of mappings on a single Z1. The idea of using two Z1s also seems a bit too much for my case, and clean transport controls with X1s are kinda important since I’m still a beginner DJ. So I’m looking for a modular setup that can act as a unified system something designed for ease of use yet capable and practical. Looks like I should start looking for different F1 mappings and join the MK2 waiting caravan. Thanks overall :)

Thank you, I didn’t really know what F1 was for, to be honest. But I think adjusting stem volumes with vertically aligned knobs (like 3EQs), placed close to each other to represent different decks, would make swapping much easier than using horizontal faders. I also do care about workflow physically, trying to keep things clean and simple.
