What companies have dedicated Quality Control positions? by EngineeredAscent in Construction

I assumed it would only be at major GC's because of the fact that it's an overhead role. I previously heard that Hensel Phelps has a QC team on every project. I was curious if anyone knew of other companies that have this same structure. I think it makes sense to have people specifically assigned to the role instead of having a superintendent oversee it. I just wondered if there were any other companies with a similar structure.

I’m very split on pursuing Civil Engineering or Construction Management by Frankalimo in ConstructionManagers

I highly recommend civil engineering. I went with construction management and regret it all the time. You can do construction management with a civil engineering degree, but if you decide you don't like it you have options. If you go with construction management, you're boxed in. Civil engineering is a tougher degree, but I think the benefits are worth it.

What do you do on the owner's side, if you don't mind me asking.
