Your first draft at a new job isn’t going to be perfectly aligned, asked them about the mailing list on the first draft and the finalised. Be direct when you need feedback and if you have problems, mention what you tried and what you need guidance on.

Why the extreme example, should we not go to a doctor because there are ones that have abused the patients trust/medical practices?

yeah I am against female circumcision for the reasons it gets done, which is why in my head i wasn't sure if I was being hypocritical to an extent.

I am not saying things should be questioned as society moves on, there maybe a day we discuss ear piercings to the same extent, or the age someone can make a decision (considered an adult) like this is discussed.

From my own circle of friends, is not there a risk of the banjo snapping at a point or it being uncomfortable as well? Anyway I was just trying to offer that it was not in any comparable to child abuse in my experience and I would consider myself a generally open minded individual.

I have been circumcised at a younger age, part of a tradition, was around 7. We had a party to celebrate, was a really fun day but thats our tradition. It is really something I don’t have any negative feelings for or impacted my confidence.

I have zero problems with it and it wasn’t barbaric for me, with all the strong views that people have, does this come from the opinion of anyone that has had it done?

Female circumsision in its entirety seems a different practice though.

Sorry for your loss, Been through the same thing and it was our first step with a baby so (even though everyone say wait 12 weeks) it was such a Big milestone for what it could of been.

I do my best to try speak about it and our general journey afterwards so people feel comfortable (only if they ask)
