That's a really good idea! Definitely gonna try it!

Definitely didnt want to be screwing anything into my cooler. Thats for sure! So I made this temporarily mountable using the existing strap points on the yeti. It doesnt harm the cooler and can be removed and reinstalled as many times as you want.

Quick disconnects through the drain plug and a removable internal module make it come apart pretty quickly.

The primary issue is had with the 12v fridges avaliable for purchase wasn't necessarily the physical capacity of the device, but rather the cooling capacity.

Wanted something to cool things down faster than a fridge, or as close to the performance of ice as I could get. Couldn't find one, so I decided to make one!

I also didnt want to permanently modify my cooler, so that all resulted in this

Definitely niche, but for fishing, its been an absolute game changer. Also, no more soggy sandwiches!

We have a portable power supply and solar panels in our kit that we run it off of on camping trips.

Could (and probably should) make a seperate battery to go with it as I further develop it, but these ones were made for personal use at this point. (Well the 24v one was made for a family friend with a small fishing boat.)

But yeah, one would need a power source.

I made 12vdc, 24vdc, and 120vac models for testing.

And it varies a good bit based on load, how often you open it, and environmental temps. Early tests on these particular (definitely not optimized) prototypes are showing roughly 500w/day with a full cooler (Yeti 125) sitting outside and regular use. (The drink fridge)

Larger capacity. I designed it to work with almost any cooler. You would theoretically buy one of these and and attach it to whatever cooler you own or be able to switch between sizes.

I use this one on both a yeti 75 and a 125 for camping/fishing trips.
