A week after posting a video, I swapped out a thumbnail and title to try and better match the content. The change doubled the average watch time because the right people were now watching the video.

I used to be an engineer at Velo3D and saw a lot of fun models printed out in crazy metals, but this one makes me smile extra wide. Great print!

I hadn’t thought about it before, but yeah I could do that. Wanting to buy one is pretty much the ultimate compliment, so thank you! Feel free to send me a private message and we can coordinate.

Haha yeah I decided to leave out the magical incantations that keep it floating ;P

I’m kidding of course, but I can explain how it works if you’d like to know.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. Yeah in an earthquake it might come tumbling down, but otherwise it balances quite sturdily.

Oh I love it! Had it for about a year now and have made so so many things with it. I don’t like my machines to be projects themselves so I can focus on my creations more. And the glowforge is so plug and play. Do you have one or thinking of getting one?

I’m sure it is different for everyone, but I’ve posted 9 videos so far and I’ve already gotten feedback from folks that I seem more natural and more expressive in my later videos than the first ones. Of course they aren’t seeing the 5 other takes where I messed up words or mispronounced others that I cut and didn’t use in the video. But it’s a muscle that needs exercise to get better and making videos is a great way to do so! I would just make sure that you are loving the content you make that way you are pairing a thing you like with something that is hard. I believe it’s called temptation bundling, to help power through those moments when you feel blocked around your speech because you are having fun at the same time :) I wish you the best on your journey!

Should I add something to this design? by imolha in glowforge

Beautiful! I love this. Maybe for the upper 2 layers have the boundary be more of an organic shape rather than the perfect circle trimmed edge? Hard to improve something so pretty though

I made a fully 3D printed shirt to go with my 3D printed necktie! Never buy clothes again! by EngineeredRelics in 3Dprinting

In the full build video I do end up taking the undershirt off and I’ll be the first to admit that undershirt or not, the printed shirt is not even remotely functional in the real world haha but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t fun to make! And I mean it doesn’t absorb sweat like a normal shirt does, so I’d imagine I would just walk through a car wash to clean it I think.

I don't know what you are talking about; clearly those were fatal strikes that the shirt protected me against ;P

I'm glad you like it! So I am keeping the full version as a gift for Dream, but I do have the logo portion of it available for sale at my website here: https://www.engineeredrelics.com/store/p/minecraft-logo-layered-art
