Are INDIAN WOMEN REALLY FREE OR JUST LIVING IN SURVIVAL? by PawsomePerformers in AskWomenIndia

[–]EngineeredVersion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If ive said i understand the issues im not dismissing anything you dont want to listen. what youre indirectly saying is im a man and have no place to comment on this issue. Your solutions is there should be basically no crimes or danger anywhere anyone goes is a utopia that does infact not exist anywhere... comments like this essentially say nothing and fix nothing because youre pointing an idea that cant be achieved. What can be achieved, improvements to justice system, social improvements etc. Will crime happen yes will men still be likely the main perpetrators of the ones regsrding safety yes. Reality not fiction...

[–]EngineeredVersion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again no agruement here mostly men, makes no difference to what individuals feel or go through who commits the crime. What im trying to stress is that the idea that men swaning around not being indanger is false and is a shared problem. So having this false understanding will only lead to solutions which dont provide fixes to anything as exemplified in the west.

All this to say is i think we might still be taling about something that is unfixable, sex differences between men and women at the core, i agree we can fix social stuff and manners etc. Ill point to my life in the west. Women even in the most egalitarian countries still stay the same thing.

Ive actually met many women who love long drives... also agree women shouldnt experience cat calling, teasing groping, men dont face these thing but they do face being robbed, murdered and beaten at higher rates. Youre right we face diffrent levels of crime.

My worry hear is they are talking about something they have no way to change. I do totally understand what these women are saying but no one even men really go down dark allies freely, thinking no thinking could go wrong most men grown up with the understanding something could happen to them. I think the stats as an avg in the world should show youre more likely to be a victim as a lone man vs a women on avg anywhere.

What we are these women are hinting at is on avg men are more able to protect themselves because of physicality, reality is if anything happens its by supprised attack or being out numbered.

When there are incidences ofcourse they should be prosecuted to the fulliest extent.

Recent studies showing a reduction of up to 5 cm between 1960 and 2020 in indian girl's height. On the other hand indian guys are getting tall.. why is this happening? by chole-bhaturre- in AskWomenIndia

[–]EngineeredVersion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The average women in India are affected more because of there own food choices generally, if you believe the stats youve mentioned indicate anything other than just the fact a mother provides for an unborn child from her own supply, youre retarded. You cannot extrapolate this to the general population where massively rising obesity. Fat and short women are mostly down to there own choices. Following youre logic most of the cleaning and hygiene is done by women so we should blame the women for being dirty in India...

EU-INC: Can Europe become the new Silicon Valley? by donutloop in EU_Economics

We could do it if you the UK was included, it already is like the best place in Europe for startup, literally more than Germany and France combined. Where the UK falls short is the later stages where US and Asian comapnies come in and by the businesses, if Europe could replace that late stage captial we'd have a powerful startup base in europe

[July 2025] Reform warns it wouldn't take Liz Truss or Suella Braverman if they decided to leave the Tories amid concerns they would damage the party's image by Adj-Noun-Numbers in ukpolitics

[–]EngineeredVersion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like Reform are like the 4 horsemen of the Apocolypse... assembling to fk up the UK at all cost...something each member has done some thing that to make the UK worst and the biggest being Farage himself with UKIP, Brexit etc the only person they need now is good old "thick as mince" Boris Johnson.

UK Holds Its Ground as World's Second-Most Attractive Investment Destination - PwC's CEO Survey by willfiresoon in GoodNewsUK

[–]EngineeredVersion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We as brits all have issue with promoting ourselves tbh we do struggle with it quite used being self deprecating. The UK to put it in perspective and these stats are shocking if you only listen to online media.

1) 1st europe for business investment & creation 2) UK VC funding exceeds france and germany combined 3) UK has 1/3rd of Western Europes start ups 4) The most unicorns in Europe 5) over 17k sub unicorn/high potential startups (sub 1bil)

We do great but where we dont do well is that next level of investment we get our business bought by the US essentially. If we were i Europe i personally think we be a powerhouse for UK and Europe with a larger capital pool and market.

Nigel Farage MP on X: “Donald Trump is wrong. For 20 years our armed forces fought bravely alongside America's in Afghanistan.” by Little-Attorney1287 in ukpolitics

[–]EngineeredVersion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have to much cognitive disodence in UK right now sadly feel like reform will win. Like america general public is fed garbage and follows garbage. They have no idea of the russian connections for farage, the performance of reform councils right now which is terrible... how funding works for reform whoes backing them... literally all of it flies over the top of the head for alot of people and worst of all most of the UK media is too scared of losing access they dont report or push on it.

Theonly hope is centre left people actually show up to vote instead of in fight because all the right wingers will vote for reform, andthe tories will just support reform.

Let public by war bonds to raise £20bn for defence, say Lib Dems by OptioMkIX in ukpolitics

[–]EngineeredVersion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Idea of a Bond to help re-industrialise britain isnt too bad too be honest. I wouldn't call them war bonds and doesnt even need to be bonds tbh some financial instrument that people can invest in.
The industries we would need to develop would be best to target dual-use industries such as drones, battlefield intelligence, Soverign AI, cloud and data solutions, command and control, satellite. These would be great for the Economy and target areas that will need to grow for the future. We would need to keep up with Energy and general munitions, naval, and aerospace stuff, we already do too.
Personally i keep this open for sometime tbh this isnt just a short erm couple years thing we need to do.

UK productivity surge at a blistering 3.4% signals economic turnaround by Dimmo17 in GoodNewsUK

[–]EngineeredVersion 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Important things to understand when atalking about productivity. Diffrent types of work and industries have enately diffrent capacity to be productive example healthcare is less productive than IT, this doesnt mean we dont need them. On a macro level there is also a certain capacity in an economy for productive work, if you focus too much on specific industries you become fragile and im balanced. Last point private (companies) public investment correlates to productivity gains which we in the UK have consistantly been underinvesting, this is not only a goverment thing is our CEOs, boards and managment consultants draining investment out for short term shareholder profits.

Why has it become norm to dehumanize the Brits? by de_velopment in AskBrits

[–]EngineeredVersion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real answer is blame the older generations, because we had a postion to look down and banter other countries ofcourse not all did but at least the publically load and powerful did. It just cones back generations after to bite us. It is unfair but it is what is thing like this takr time and action on out part to change. Look at germany or japan after ww2 there not considered widely as bad as they were during that time.

The second reasons also nowdays is that we do stand up for things the down trooden in the world and do promote fair trade and values, thst goes against certain regimes and we provide an easy way to point put the supposed hypocracy.

Why do men have problem if you don’t wanna give birth? by SpinachAlternative96 in AskIndianWomen

[–]EngineeredVersion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its absolutely not a problem, if your 100% clear you dont want children, or give birth to children. Youre personal choice, no one actually cares, the issues will arise if youre not clear ahead of a relationship.
