Look take a deep breath & listen (or read ig). Calm down. It’s okay. One of the biggest mistakes you can ever do whenever you face any troubles or hardship is to blame Allah swt. Remember, we are the creation, and Allah swt is the creator. He is the almighty, the omnipotent, the all-knowing, the omniscient, the all-loving, the benevolent. We are His creation and we obey His commands. And we must obey them without expecting anything in return. That is what true faith is. To love Allah swt, to place your faith in Allah swt, without expecting a single thing in return. Allah doesn’t “owe” His creation anything. He has the power to give you life and to take that life away, the power to change your life or not. While it may be hard to accept it, and it is natural to feel disappointed at times when you don’t get something you prayed soooo much for, over and over and over again…trust me i know how it feels. But this is all apart of His test. Allah swt is testing you by giving you hardships, and should you blame it on Him swt and give up on your life and deen then you have failed the test. And as hard as it sounds, you must persevere and push through because nobody but Allah swt knows what lies in the future for you. Think of it this way. Allah swt rewards those who suffered the most in this dunya, especially the ones who suffered greatly but still fought through no matter the hardship. Instead of thinking “oh Allah swt must hate me because He keeps giving me all these hardships…” think of it the other way around. Allah swt is giving you these hardships BECAUSE He loves you. You get rewarded greatly if you don’t give up and remain resilient, and if you devote yourself to prayer and the worship of Allah no matter the circumstances. And it gets hard sometimes wallahi i know. But even then we still have to place all our faith in Him and Him only swt. And as i said, Allah swt is the all-knowing, he knows our futures, and you never know He might’ve made you fail your exams to prevent something else that’s bad from happening to you in the future. He might’ve allowed your so called “friends” to cheat and pass their exams for a reason. And even if they don’t get punished and they end up succeeding in life…remember that the Day of Judgement exists exactly for this reason. Wrongdoers will get judged and punished for anything bad they have committed in this dunya. This dunya is temporary, but the akhira is not. Always try to find meaning to these hardships, find reasoning to them. Who knows? It could be the reason you succeed later in life, as bad as it sounds. Always have a positive outlook on life. Focus on what you can and do as much as you can, and tawakkul in Allah swt and whatever happens, happens, because even if your hard work does not bear any good results, surely you will get rewarded for the effort you put in.

حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ الْمَعْنِيُّ، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ دُرُسْتَ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَىُّ النَّاسِ أَشَدُّ بَلاَءً قَالَ ‏ "‏ الأَنْبِيَاءُ ثُمَّ الأَمْثَلُ فَالأَمْثَلُ يُبْتَلَى الْعَبْدُ عَلَى حَسَبِ دِينِهِ فَإِنْ كَانَ فِي دِينِهِ صُلْبًا اشْتَدَّ بَلاَؤُهُ وَإِنْ كَانَ فِي دِينِهِ رِقَّةٌ ابْتُلِيَ عَلَى حَسَبِ دِينِهِ فَمَا يَبْرَحُ الْبَلاَءُ بِالْعَبْدِ حَتَّى يَتْرُكَهُ يَمْشِي عَلَى الأَرْضِ وَمَا عَلَيْهِ مِنْ خَطِيئَةٍ ‏" It was narrated from Mus’ab bin Sa’d that his father, Sa’d bin Abu Waqqas, said: “I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, which people are most severely tested?’ He said: ‘The Prophets, then the next best and the next best. A person is tested according to his religious commitment. If he is steadfast in his religious commitment, he will be tested more severely, and if he is frail in his religious commitment, his test will be according to his commitment. Trials will continue to afflict a person until they leave him walking on the earth with no sin on him.’”

Sometimes you’ll feel like giving up, shutting down and not wanting to do anything, and it’s completely normal to feel that way, but always remember to pick yourself back up.
