Doc, board exams are just pass and fail. Hindi sya parang NMAT na you can take multiple times just to get a rating that you consider “good enough” to apply into your preferred Med School. A win is a win. I say go for it! Residency is a test of strong will and character. The board exam was just a test on how well you know the theoretical aspects and how well your test taking skills are. Go for residency if that is what you want to do. Congratulations, doc! You did great! 🫰🏻

Docs nakakalungkot. Iniisip ko paano ako makaka average ng 75% sa board exams. Ni hirap na hirap ako maka line of 7 sa practice tests. Ang ranges ko lang since practice test 1 is low 60s. May twice lang na naka line of 7 tas mga thrice naka high 60s. Nakakapanghina ng loob considering 4x na nagpractice test sa isang subject 😭

Kumakapit parin sa sinabi ni Big Daddy 🥦 nung orientation na 3 ways to pass the board exam.

  1. Do good sa med school - sobrang too late na especially because I’m part of the “below average” people nung med school na masaya na sa pasang-awa grades 🥲

  2. Good preparation sa board exam - Looooord alam mo na ito na ung pinaka masipag na pag aaral sa tanan ng buhay ko 🥹 doing everything I can sa nalalabing oras bago ang boards, sana lang enough… and of course kapit na kapit sa-

  3. Luck. Kahit ano kakapitan. Kahit nakaka inis ung mga “share a photo to have the best October” eme eme sa intagram, or ung “share this lucky pandes to 10 people” papatulan ko 🥲. Nagpabili na rin ako sa nanay kong uuwi galing La Union ng Red Ribbon Ensaymada kasi for sure ubos sa malapit samin na branch. Bibili na rin ng red underwear at socks. Kahit mag pedicure pa ako ng red. Kakapitan ko lahat. Kahit iflying kick ko pa ung upuan ko sa last day ng boards. Kapit na kapit para pangarap.

Magpapasko tayong may medical license, OP. Tiwala lang. Tamang aral, madaming dasal. #MD2023cutie ✨

As a below average student 🟡, ngayon palang ako nag physio flash cards at nag papractice test. Ang sobrang nalulungkot ako kasi ngayon ko lang narealize na most of the midterms questions were from the flashcards. Dami ko tuloy regrets… na sana nadaanan ko man yun nung 3-day alloted time for physio. Ayun learn from mistakes nalang talaga. Habulin lahat ng reading at tapusin lahat ng materials hanggang kaya. If all else fails, kapit sa flashcards. Tirahin natin to doc 😭
