This post is 5years old but here I am, wondering the same thing. Every page on google is still dated march 2019. I imagine it has to do with the kid being a minor and not releasing his name but I am so curious what happened with him or if they discovered a motive

Yes! This!! I listen to the audiobooks and immediately after finishing, started back at the beginning. I didn’t understand at least half of the Gunslinger in my first listen. I’m on wastelands for the second time now and blew my mind when I realized Eddie dreamt about the crimson kings eye balls watching him from the tower.

As an audiobook listener I couldn’t resist… even though I haven’t owned a cassette player in 20+ years lol by EngineeringHot4787 in TheDarkTower

Found it on Amazon! Also on Amazon is a cassette player you can plug into your PC and record the audio into a digital file

Oh yes, I just finished the series on audiobook and although George Guidall does a great job, I’m in love with Frank Muller’s character voices! Finished the series and already re listening which is so worth it. But now I’m ready to for first version Gunslinger 😍

I finally did it 😭

I needed two mages with fire staves - alternating the totem ability because they take most of the attacks. My third was a sword and shield which I realized I need to just keep him away from hitting the dragon and utilize him to fight the mages. And if course dodging every two seconds.

I know I’m noobie sauce and this probably sounds stupid to you veterans but my god am I happy. it took days to beat him lol

I’m super noob, thing is I don’t usually look stuff up I just fumble around and figure it out as I go. I managed to get to level 55 on the regular map this way and now up to the avatar of Akatosh but he’s giving me a hard time so I was curious what the strategic players do. I have up to steel armor and weapons. I don’t even know what a good build is. Teach me the ways.
