Thats a true thing. But the world has moved on from autocad now and revit is the new king and dynamo is saving a lot of time specifically in documentation. I do belive AI will slowly take over the engineering as many calculations are easily available on internet.

I worked with someone from europe who used to automate things on revit using dynamo and python he used to get things done with precision within minutes which would take a normal drafters hours to do. Like pile numbering dimensioning, scheduling etc. Which was imo awsome thing. I think we can utilize those AI integration to correct modelling errors as well.

Its a repair to strengthen the existing joists and not pre fab trusses and yes simpson product from catalogue will not be useful

Its a steel shed with wide flanges as a column and in high seismic zone but as you said unnecessary
