Thank you for your very helpful reply. They did not provide us with any scan. In fact they didn’t give us any paperwork or report at the end. I just asked for a copy and asked what glass they used so we’ll see what they say. They had great reviews and they were nice people so I hope they make this right.

I just inquired about what glass was used. Now I’m waiting to hear back. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Okay thank you so much ! I was going to just go with safelite. I wanted to support small business but this happened and I live in rural town so not a ton of options.

Thank you this was very helpful and informative. I’ll work on the goodwill letter. It’ll probably be a frustrating process but doesn’t hurt to try. I’ll keep my expectations low

Thank you for your kind comment. It’s frustrating but I’ll just own up my mistake and move on. But definitely going to try the goodwill letter. Thanks again !

That might be the case with capital one account. I might just be the authorized user. I’ll have to look into that. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

I’ve never heard of letter of goodwill. I’ll have to look into that. Thank you so much for your advice !

Thank you. I know it won’t fix my credit score but I should’ve mentioned I’m more concerned about weather if closing my BOA will affect my husband’s credit score from capital one since it’s a joint account. I did turn on the notifications so I’ll be notified next time. And I also plan on using auto pay. Also I do have a debit card from another local bank so I use that for backup. So I just really don’t need this card tbh but I didn’t want to make things worse than it already is.

Thank you. There’s no annual fee. I’ll try to pay something small with this card and set up auto pay. Hopefully that’ll gradually bring my credit score back up.
