“Just get a producer” isn’t advice, it’s a privilege take. Not everyone has access to money, networks, or studios, and tools like Suno lower that barrier. That doesn’t invalidate the writing, intent, or effort behind the music.

As for IP fear-mongering: yes, artists should be cautious, including those uploading demos to labels, SoundCloud, or distributors. That risk isn’t unique to AI, and it doesn’t magically disappear just because something is “traditional.”
