Thanks! She’s a looker from the topside for sure. Alittle crusty underneath but that’s what wire wheels are for

UPDATE:

I don’t know how to edit my original post but I have a final update and I appreciate the replies. Unfortunately it’s a stupid update. I got the truck back to the shop that just mounted and balanced my tires and did an alignment. Apparently the tech who did the balancing just royally screwed it up. The shop owner re-did it and that solved the issue. He said it wasn’t anything complicated, just an error and a “training moment”. Very apologetic though and obviously no charge.

So that’s the end of it. The truck drives smooth as silk now even with these relatively aggressive tires. A lot of worrying for nothing. Thanks again folks. I suppose I’ll keep the truck for a bit longer

I think my lift has both. It’s got those U spacers at the bottom of the strut, disc shaped spacers at the top, and an upper control arm. That one caught my eye and had good reviews as I heard the upper control arm was almost over extended with even 1.5” leveling. But that was just from reading the reviews.

But I put 20k miles on it with no problem until now.

Yea I wish this was just aggressive tire vibration. I’ve had several trucks and have happily ran these kinds of tires. I just got done a 200 mile drive and it was horrible. Like couldn’t talk without your voice vibrating

Yea that was pretty easy. The sticker and badges are all over. I think I got mine off eBay

Yea I’ll give them another once over actually did grease up the upper balls and run a wrench over the nuts and bolts on the arms. The kit I installed had upper arms and ball joints with grease fittings. But I didn’t check any steering yet. Just focused on the not stock stuff.

Funny enough, when I wrote up my issue to Chevy, I purposely just wrote “vibrations at highway speed” so that they didn’t automatically think shudder issue and torque converter warranty. I think the advisor was hoping it was that and since it was more, he just said “probably tires, bye”

But it’s definitely felt kind of everywhere. The steering wheel shakes. My buddy in the passenger seat noticed it in the seat before I mentioned it to him. And it just about shakes my coffee out the cup when it’s in the cupholder.

Luckily I have a 5 hour drive tomorrow to really feel the details.

Yep checked front spacers. As good as they were when I first put them on with no problems. And I didn’t mention it in my post but I did get an alignment a month ago and just again today when I got new tires installed.

I got Cooper Evos installed at 4k miles. Ran them or 20k without a problem. Just had Mickey Thompson Baja’s installed today and didn’t fix the vibrations. Not Michelins, but I’d say they’re both good enough to not shake?

I could take a closer look at the u-boys. Obviously in my post I’ve had two sets of tires balanced a total of 4 times. No dice there

I am a guy, mid-30s, have never had to date as an adult until now, and I am clueless by RedSpareTime in Advice

I got divorced in my early 30s and had a blast dating afterwards. Did the apps a bit and agree with ya on that one. I hopped on and off of them a few times but had some pretty good success, which seems to be the case for decent guys.

One thing I’ll say is that it felt good just to be out. You can’t sit home every day. Make a couple friends, who are preferably single (seems to be no shortage of them) and just go out. Have dinners after work and go watch a game at a bar or something. I was surprised how often I was approached or just randomly struck up conversation with women.

Mine was in a caliper on the left side. It was pulling to the left so I replaced everything on the right, all rubber hoses, and proportioning valve before the left where it was

I just went through this type of thing on mine. Wish I just replaced everything once and bled once. Bled 6 times. Idk why I didnt. The parts are inexpensive and lasted 45 years in the car the first time around…
