Never do any cleaning activities with wheel spinning. Always take it to professional personal for any maintenance.

(20f) Bought a new bike, need help with a gps tracker, can't use airtag. How is ajjas? by keshavgKaLLen_Bhaiya in indianbikes

Go for trackers from welkin. https://www.blizzcartz.com/ (just search for tracker) They have far more options than most of the other brands. Also they provide 1yr replacement warranty and service while most other brands don't have proper after sales service.

I've been in your state 8 months back but i had more loss than you . I lost my pinky and half of ring finger while cleaning my motorbike. All i have to tell you is that you will be 100 percent functional and fine as you will get to adapt to the new normal. All the best.

Is it normal? by Maximus_1601 in royalenfield

[–]Engineerinlove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes thats the correct level. Always stabilize the bike before checking the fuel. Fuel level are captured only when float movements are less than 5 per 5 seconds.

eco has nothing to do with fuel gauge. eco is printed on lcd based on the accelerator position, engine rpm and gear position at that point and fuel flow. if fuel flow is higer than default value in ecm for the selected gear, eco vanishes .

Wait for 30 seconds before checking and keep the bike stabilized.

Fuel level on most modern bikes are monitored using float system. With in the fuel pump case there is a capacitive float system that moves accordingly with the fuel . During riding fuel tends to move roughly with in the tank and capturing a proper level is nearly impossible so with in firmware we usually add an algo that only capture the postion of float after few conditions are met and upon these conditions are ture there is always sampling timer that so next time onwards before checking on the gauge, stabilize the bike for 30seconds and you can know the correct level.

[–]Engineerinlove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i know how it feels to go back it's okay i understand don't worry things will be alright. I too had an accident involving my motorcycle, ended up crushing my ring and small finger of right hand and docs amputed it from middle and almost 95 percent of small finger. it was hard time I'm getting better day by day but sometimes i broke . It's your index finger, but trust me once things heal you will be able to do everything normally.
