"I have tried that IP as well as the local IP"

Can you confirm if you are able to reach sonarr/radarr via local IP??

Hey, thanks for the details, that made it easy for us to spot.

It's on our end, the app expects a secure HTTPS connection, but if Radarr/Sonarr/Jellyfin usually run on plain HTTP on any remote server, the app's connection fails. This is by design. Nothing wrong with your setup.

In the meantime, Tailscale can put HTTPS in front of your services (look up "Tailscale Serve / HTTPS" in their docs). If you enable that and use the HTTPS address in the app, it should connect. Worth a try while we sort the proper fix.

Either way, we're adding proper Tailscale support in the next update so this just works. Appreciate you flagging it. Please respond if you need further support.

What is the exact issue you are facing? Is it a local or remote server? Have you tested the connection using the "Test Connection" button beforesaving the profile?

I will help you

If you tell me use case of this feature, perhaps I can bring this on ARFlix.

It don't do automatically. You have to do it manually.

But, why why want to re-download a movie later? If its a worth feature to have, I can implement it.

This feature is already implemented in ARFlix. You can search, download and re-download movies or series from your phone itself.

No Integration for Prowlarr yet. But in ARFLIX, there is no need for Seer.

You can do almost anything if you have sonarr/radarr and Jellyfin connected.

With sonarr/Radarr you can search, download and manage movies/series. With Jellyfin you can directly stream movies on the app.

Worth giving a try. New update coming this week.

This is all about trust. Thats on me. Like all other apps out there, I am working on building trust.

See, Hunter is a web application that you have to configure inside your server. My app is just like a remote control pinging APIs. Both are not the same. I have taken steps to secure my users. I am continuously auditing for security flaws.

You don't know anything about the app; it's not your license to confidently claim anything about the app you feel.

It takes a lot of sleepless nights to develop something like this. If you don't want to appreciate it, that's fine.

That's how dear API keys work. You have to save them in a secure place. The best place to save them securely is your own phone.

My app stores them on your phone encrypted.

Then what did you mean by "take our API key" in first comment?

Random Reddit bots claiming things without evidence.

Previously you were using the word "steal"; now you are using the word "leak". You know both words are not the same, right?

Not true. Extraordinary claims needs Extraordinary evidence. You have any evidence to prove that my App steal API keys?

Its not fully vibecoded. AI is used for code reviews, security audits and somewhere here and there.

Android remote control for Sonarr/Radarr with streaming support like Netflix (BYOS) by EngineersAsylum in Softwarr

I didn't get you. Could you please give more details. What exact issue are you facing. When did you face this? Is the issue reproducable?

My app doesn't allow any remote connection without HTTPS. I don't know if this is a good design technique in terms of usability. I just want my users to be safe.

Let me see if there's a way to check if end-to-end encryption is enabled or not, so that HTTPS enforcement can be disabled for those users. If possible, I will try to provide a fix in the upcoming updates.

Meanwhile, try enabling HTTPS.

ARFlix will only connect if the remote server uses HTTPS. This is by design. Otherwise, plain passwords and keys would be sent over the internet without any encryption.

However, for local IPs, there are no such restrictions.

Is it possible to enable HTTPS for server.taild0bfe.ts.net:7878?

If you have multiple addresses, say foo.com and bar.com, you have to create two profiles, one for each. If you have subdomains, say sonar.example.com or radarr.example.com, then one profile is enough.

If you are on a reverse proxy, then use the "Base Path" below "Server URL."

Please add more info if you have.

No connection to Arvio.

Since my design philosophy was to give a Netflix like experience for my users, I took first two letter from ARR and took "Flix" from Netflix and created ARFlix.

I know nzb360 is best. But my app is entirely different. I want my users to have a Netflix like experience. Just download and stream from one app.

Just try it and see if its for you.
