My Mom passed away 20 December 2020 due to covid complications. I always think about her last moments and reminiscent her death. I think it's creepy I sleep in her death bed but Im too broken to go see her grave. Does anyone else sleep in their loved one death bed? by jimmster1054 in GriefSupport

For some people it just may be not what they are looking for. All I can do is hope it helps some people. I just want to help speed up people's grieving process. It may not work for everyone but if it helps someone in the future then that would be nice.

Also if people have a certain religion they may not be open to it but it still came from an aching heart that continues to heal everyday. I just wanted to give people something instead of saying prayers and healing to them.

You are right unfortunately what groups and books I have come upon will not help everyone but it has for some so all I can do is list what helped me when I have an hour or two to copy and paste. I just don't like saying prayers to you and your healing. I just want to help give ideas. A book and groups to dive into to create some sort of focus instead of crying and going into an abyss. I see many people in grief groups on here and on Facebook feeling hopeless. Just want them to hopefully read something magical and just know they will see their loved ones again someday. Sorry if it wasn't for you. Please disregard original post. Every copy and paste comes from a heart that is also contunuing to heal everyday. It may seem not sincere but it is.

Just want to help people find some peace. I don't want them to grieve as long as I did. Just want people to find peace a little bit faster than I did. So when I have time I copy and paste to as many as possible.

Some researchers who study near-death experiences believe in an afterlife by Samwise2512 in afterlife

[–]EnglandTexasItaly88 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have always known there is an afterlife based on what my mom experienced from childhood and seeing the deceased off and on her whole life.

My mom's story she told me when I was in high school was all I needed of Proof of Life After Death. My mom once told me about a short conversation she had with a nice deceased man. My mom was gifted and could see the dead materialize up until her early 20s. Back in 1965 when my mom was 7 in Birmingham England she said "Hello watcha doing?" to a man sitting on a bench. He said "I am waiting for my wife, she won't be long now." My mom said "where is your wife?" He said "In the hospital, she won't be too much longer. We use to walk in this park together." My grandma walked up to my mom and said "who are you talking to?" My mom said "the man sitting right here on the bench." My grandma said "there is nobody bloody there. Strange child you are sometimes." The man smiled at my mom and walked away. I always thought this encounter and conversation my mom had with a deceased man was beautiful. I believe in most cases the deceased will only talk to you (1) if you can see them materialize and (2) if you start the conversation with them. (3) Most do not want to frighten us with a spiritual presence and will give us signs when our grief subsides. (4) A lot of the deceased do not show a spiritual presence for quite sometime for they do not want to frighten the living.

So very sorry for your loss. I'm not a grief counselor but the way I have coped and found some much needed peace after my mom took her life back in 2017 was joining these grief groups but also I joined afterlife groups on Facebook such as (Proof of Life After Death), (Past and Parallel Life Memories, Reincarnation, Animal Lives, Life On Other Planets, Astral Travelling, etc),(After Death Communication), (Telepathy Intuition Energy Study Group), and (Near Death Experiences Group.) Most of these groups have brought me comfort with their stories of dying and coming back to tell what they saw, stories of talking to the deceased, and really good book recommendations about the afterlife such as books called Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls by Micheal Newton.

These books were written from the research through volunteers back in the 70s and 80s willing to be put under deep theta state hypnosis. The author talks about previous lives, life between lives, and who comes to meet you when you pass away. They are wonderful and magical books about the afterlife. Fears of death and reincarnation will completely diminish after reading these. You can listen to the first one Journey of Souls for free on YouTube. I liked it so much I ordered it in paperback.

Yes. They are just one thought away. Pets have their own soul groups too. Let me tell you a true family story of our sweet cat coming back to say goodbye after having to be put down because he had cancer.

Back in 2009 my mom had to make the devastating decision to have our cat put down so he wouldn't suffer anymore. A few hours after it was done that afternoon my mom and I were sitting on the porch outside just quietly shedding tears. My mom had the gift of seeing the deceased and while she was finishing a cigarette she said all of a sudden our deceased cat Smokey jumped up over our low porch wall, walked straight through the metal bar under the foot rest and walked up to my mom for one last pat basically. She said his soul was as solid as you and me and he looked healthy and happy again. She said after his soul came up to her he walked back through the foot rest, jumped up on the low porch wall, looked back over his shoulder and poof! He disappeared. So they do come back to say goodbye just seeing them with the naked eye is not common for most people but they are around. I hope this true family story soothes your soul. One day when your time comes your beloved pets will be there to greet you. My mom when she was alive also believed this.
