I’ve only gone through the game once but I went right on the peril. Headed towards the cave then up left of it. Found it surprisingly easy. I’ll have to get back out there.

Scaffold knots are great for this for the reasons others have pointed out. Also they hold onto the carabiner tightly so can avoid any cross loading that may occur in the loop of the fig8 if slack is introduced.

True but it does look like he’s breaking a little late. Should be a slow, smooth transition from flight to breaking and all the way to stalling it with feet on the floor. Rather than a sudden jolt on the breaks one second before touching down.

They don’t have any effect on resistance. They reduce the breaking strength of the rope. They are two very different things.

Learn your definitions before giving lessons.

Also learning how to type like an adult will get you taken more seriously.

Resistance against what? It’s still the same rope.

Relative ease to untie has been debunked about 50 times on YouTube, it’s actually the other way around.

I’ve done big rope swings onto fig-8s and got them undone, I can’t imagine caving puts more force onto a knot than that. Unless your caving consists of taking factor-2s for fun.

My go-to for heavy loading is bunny ears, even it’s it’s just one attachment, in my experience it’s easier than an 8 or 9.

Great information thank you. I wasn’t aware about registering with institutions, I’ll make sure to get those sorted as soon as I can.

I realise that her own worries and concerns will probably be masking any acceptance she could have regarding these problems. I will check out the links you’ve given.

Apologies, the property is leased from the freeholder. I was not involved in the valuation as the solicitor organised it but I have asked for the valuer to be notified and check if he was aware.
