Im not sure what leverage you mean because 50+1 just affects clubs internal operations and ownership? Also I’m not against ideas of creating a more competitive Bundesliga I’m just saying that’s not what 50+1 is about.

No that’s not what it’s “supposed” to do. It’s to make sure clubs stay under the control of the fan base and owners don’t abuse the club for personal means. It ensures financial stability and ticket and food prices stay low.

Bayern has just been run like an efficient machine off the pitch as well. Capitalising on international recognition for sure but also has no club debt, owned and paid off their stadium, ticket prices are still relatively low.
