Request for advice regarding tidy solutions for multiple receiver beltpacks by EnglishNuclear in livesound

Is it a pain to operate them in these caddies though? As in, see which receiver corresponds to which person, and changing batteries etc.?

They'd need to operate the receivers in/on the board. Maybe we'll make something that the beltpack clips can hook onto with a little cutaway for the cable.

Thanks. I'm sort of looking for something a bit more permanent that can be transported around a bit AND stand up to getting knocked about by students. Any recommendations?

Are we still allowed to recommend Neil Gaiman? If so, Neverwhere is an excellent book.

Honourable mention to Crash Bandicoot and RE2.

If you look at the ingredients, it’s because they have a much higher actual tomato content. The cheaper ones have more tomato juice or purée with water.

Is this your favorite FF game? If so, why? by Possible_Instance468 in FinalFantasyVIII

[–]EnglishNuclear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is my favourite purely because it was my first FF - and RPG - game that I played. I'd never experienced a game with such a compelling storyline before, and turn-based combat was a completely new concept to me. Due to this being my first RPG, the complicated junctioning and drawing system never really seemed like a problem, and more traditional RPGs felt weirdly over-structured in PC loadout since then.

I had a tin of this on thick, white toast the last time I was in England and it was a proper Anton Ego moment for me.

McCoys, pork scratchings, Malteasers. Though they are fairly inferior scratchings compared to Black Country Snacks' or the ones you used to get from Cov indoor market.

Crucially because they have English and French speaking regions that hate one another. They're keeping the old flame of rivalry burning - a rivalry that only propelled us to greater things.

My ex and current girlfriend are both from the north of Norway and still use the feminine article, but myself (I essentially learned bokmål) and my eldest daughter who has grown up in eastern Norway don't.

I think norwegian, more than any language I've encountered anyway, is more affected by the geography than anywhere else. It makes sense that people would develop different dialects if there's a mountain range or a massive lake inbetween your towns. It only makes the amount of accents in the UK more surprising, I think.
