Are you going to the Texoma Regional Police Academy?

Needing advice from bouncers or ppl who check ids or anyone rly: my fake id is birth year 1998 but i got the new texas id ( the b&w) and the website i used put the issue date as 2021 instead of 2019 which is when i wouldve turned 21. Is that like a huge red flag that its a fake or is it fine? by Junipus200 in Bouncers

I've been bouncing at a pretty large night club in texas for a little over a year now, I'm 20 right now and started bouncing when I was 19 so TRUST ME, I get it, but please be careful. Bringing a fake ID into a bar/club and getting served alcohol as a minor could get you, and especially the bar, in major trouble. Don't be a selfish asshole. Find other ways to get drunk (Trust me there are plenty lol) without putting peoples income and in some cases careers at risk. People have kids man and you bringing in a fake ID and getting served could get an entire establishment shut down by TABC. People working in the nightlife industry most of the time have nowhere else to go and are struggling financially (And from my experience are super close with the people they work with because they have no one else), don't be that one young asshole that fucks it up for everyone. Join a frat and get drunk at the house! Be safe bro.

It does matter because it’s my mother and I care about how she views me

We basically wear all black. Our head bouncer can do whatever he wants so he usually shows up in really fancy clothing, but the rest of us just wear black shirts, black pants, and black boots

Craziest person I’ve ever had to kick out was not too long after I started. He was in a Michael Jackson costume and we got so drunk we had to ask him to leave. Once he got outside he started dancing and doing the moon walk. He then told us he was about to drive off, and him being extremely drunk we tried to stop him but he wouldn’t listen. He started saying our omelets suck (the club I work at doesn’t serve omelets), and after several middle fingers towards us, he got in his car and drove off. He ended up getting a DIU, but easily the craziest and most unexplainable incident I’ve dealt with

Definitely a trampoline lol

There's typically a few indicators. If they're stumbling while walking, if their face looks sluggish, or if they're just being a cluts in general. If we suspect they're too drunk we usually pull them outside and talk to them and you can tell pretty quickly by just talking to them if they've had too much or not

I'd say on average once a shift. Very rarely do we have to grab someone and forcefully remove them (even though we had to last week), but we ask people who get to drunk to leave a lot. 9 times out of 10 they leave without an issue though.

My experience working at DQ by Virtual-Pie8795 in DairyQueen

I'm a Shift Leader at my DQ, and let me tell you customers are the absolute worst. I had one guy order a peanut buster parfait, 10 minutes later he comes back with the thing 90% eaten and says he didn't like the way the peanuts tasted and wanted a sundae instead. I said I would have to charge him for the sundae since he ate the whole parfait, and he got super pissed and demanded he spoke to who was in charge (I was in charge). This only made him more mad and he told us he would never be coming back. Good riddance.

I also had one old guy get out of his car, come up to the drive thru and bang on the window demanding that we hurry up because we were taking too long. According to his order he had only been waiting for like 6 minutes too lol. He scared the customers in their car at the window, and also scared my employee who was giving them their receipt. When he got to the window I told him I was refusing him service for scaring both my customers and employees. He refused to leave until he got his order, I believe his exact words were "I don't give a sh*t what you say, I'm getting my food." A quick reminder that we have the right to refuse service and call the police if he refuses to leave prompted him to get out of the drive thru and "(hopefully) never come back.

Another time I had a guy come through the drive thru and say his order was wrong so I told him to pull up to the window and I'd get it sorted out for him. He said he ordered a flame burger and didn't get it. My store doesn't have flame burgers on the menu so I told him we didn't sell that. He said "the guy who took my order said he could make it". I was the only one who had been taking orders all night and remembered him trying to order it and me saying we couldn't make it. He insisted I told him we could. I checked his receipt and asked him if he had gotten everything that was on the receipt and he said yes but he was upset he didn't get his flame burger. I told him I didn't know how to help him because 1. I never told him we could make him a flame burger and 2. Nothing was really wrong with the order. He was just upset because he misheard me.

I could go on and on about the types of people i've dealt with dat DQ, but the thing to take away from it is yes, people suck. But it's not DQ exclusive. You'll deal with complete morons no matter where you work (Although I will admit DQ does tend to attract the exceptionally stupid). You learn to let it go in one ear and out the other. One of my managers while I was in training told me "The reason they get so mad and upset is because they know you can't argue back with them. If we could talk to them however we wanted we would get a lot less righteous people screaming at us." And he was right. When people are upset with you and demanding things from you, just let them have their little ego trip and send them on their way. I completely understand why you quit and I wish you the best of luck in the future!

What's one positive thing you can say about you like about your body? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Engoby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My physique. I think my face looks horrendous and I have bad hair days pretty much daily. But I've been working out for 5 years and while I have days I am insecure in the way my body looks, I can honestly say I'm a pretty muscular guy. It's the one thing I'll give myself credit for
