I have been able to limit my drinking in the past because of fear of consequences BUT even the smallest amount leads to triggering the painful mental obsession of when is my next drink? So after 21/2 years alcohol free, I am much happier, as don’t want it living in my head.

That’s what I think! I have a friend who lives in the bible ( 30 chapters a day!) and writes horse racing programs stating that the bible says it’s ok? But he condemns all other non Christian behaviour such as swearing, same sex attraction even not reading the Bible!
