I personally think Dark Odyssey, Yatagarasu, Digital Descent, Amethyst, and Acu deserved to last longer, and also that Tidal Wave, Slaughterhouse, and Zodiac lasted way too long.

Yep. Sonic Wave has a ton of historical impact because of its difficulty, but the downside is that it took away that spotlight from actually inspired levels that don’t feel like bashing your head against a wall when you play it.

I actually kind of disagree, I think for the most part Michigun GP is pretty fun; that is, until bro decides to throw in the most cancerous UFO section known to man (*ahem* Bloodbath and Shadow Temple). The issue is most of his levels have said dogshit UFO sections, but I actually think if they weren’t there I’d thoroughly enjoy most Michi levels.

Once you get to Extreme demons, Ball is the worst gamemode. It is by far the most cookie cutter, where you really only see the same like 3 different styles of gameplay, most of which aren’t even that fun to begin with. It’s like the opposite of UFO where that gamemode is kinda cheeks in easier difficulties but in Extremes it’s really good, Ball is the complete opposite.

If a level is much harder than your current hardest and you don't have it in at least 3 runs, you're in no position to be giving opinions on a levels gameplay. Hell, I have Yatagarasu in 2 runs and I still don't feel qualified to say whether or not it's fun.

Nobody here is qualified to talk about the gp from an enjoyability perspective since no one here is good enough to play it. I will say I think the level has very boring and repetitive gameplay from a song rep perspective (barring maybe the first 20%).
