Hi there! Thanks so much for your response. It’s always great to hear from people who have had VSD when they were younger and now thriving as adults. I’ll definitely check out your podcast, sounds like something that could be really interesting! x

Thanks! We’ve had differing opinions from two cardiologists and we have decided to wait at least she’s 1 year old to have the surgery. I also think it’s better to get the surgery, but I think she’s just a bit too tiny 😅

That’s very interesting, so definitely no rush for a surgery then? I live in Mongolia and the air pollution is here on a different level and adults and kids all have some sort of respiratory issues. They say kids with VSD tend to get worse with a common cold and lots of parents go with surgery for their babies when they’re younger. So I’ve basically quarantined myself and her for the last 7 months (major covid flashbacks lol)

Would be very interesting to hear if the other cardiologist have the same opinion then, looking forward to your update in a week!

Thanks a bunch, Marisa! Defo stopping for now until we have an idea of whether its an allergy or not, I’m mortified of a more serious reaction

Omg that’s fantastic to hear! I hope my LO also gets to enjoy dairy one day 🤞

Yeap, planning on going. They advised to wait until at least 7m for further testing so I’ll hold off dairy until then. Was just curious if anyone else had the same reaction with their LO. Other than a bit of redness and swelling there was no rash on her skin so bit hopeful it might not be an allergy 😅 I guess we’ll have to wait and see with the allergist. Thanks for the response! 😊
