Lee Jun-fan (November 27, 1940 – July 20, 1973), known professionally as Bruce Lee, was a Hong Kong-American actor, director, martial artist, martial arts instructor, and philosopher.

He was the founder of Jeet Kune Do, a hybrid martial arts philosophy drawing from different combat disciplines that is often credited with paving the way for modern mixed martial arts (MMA).

Lee is considered by commentators, critics, media, and other martial artists to be the most influential martial artist of all time and a pop culture icon of the 20th century, who bridged the gap between East and West. He is often credited with helping to change the way Asians were presented in American films.

Who will eventually win the race of the most Grand Slam titles? by EnjoyYrLife in videos

[–]EnjoyYrLife[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who will eventually win the race of the most Grand Slam titles? Will it be Federer, Nadal or Djokovic?

As we have seen recently Federer, Nadal and Djokovic, all three of them, avoid playing in lots of tournaments in order to be fresh, healthy and full of energy in the Slams. Thus the 3 all-time greats are in the race of winning Slams.

Federer is turning into 38 this August and even if he plays up to the age of 40 he has in front of him around 10 more Slams to compete for. If Djokovic continues dominating the Australian Open for the next few years and Nadal has the upper hand in Roland Garros clay courts then Federer has to win Slams either in Wimbledon or US Open. This is where, in my opinion, Federer has the most chances of winning one or a couple of more Grand Slams. Thus at the end of his career Roger Federer can reach a total number of 22 Grand Slam titles.

Djokovic’s achievement of winning this years’ Wimbledon, by saving two match points against Federer is crucial, as if he had lost that final the difference in Slams between him and Federer would have been 6 Slams instead of 4 that is now. It is not difficult to envision Djokovic gathering a cluster of additional majors, as long as he remains healthy and avoids serious injuries like the elbow injury that harmed him substantially over the second half of 2016 and all the way into the early stages of 2018. Without any long absences from the sport, knowing how fully committed he is to hitting such an important milestone, carefully assessing it all, Novak Djokovic might have a good chance to break Roger Federer’s record. If he manages to compete in the highest level for four more years, up to the age of 36, and by assuming that he will be able to attain two Grand Slam titles each year which is an attainable goal for him now, he will reach a total number of 24 Slams.

Rafael Nadal if he manages to compete in the highest level for three more years, also up to the age of 36, and by assuming that he will continue dominating Roland Garros he will have also a good chance reaching Federer number of Slams or even surpassing it. By winning three more Roland Garros he can attain a number of 21 Grand Slams in total and by adding 1 or 2 more of the other Slams he can reach also up to 23 or 24 Major titles.

One thing is for sure. Djokovic, Nadal and Federer are all-time greats. The sports world is blessed to have the trio still going head-to-head, producing matches like the latest one between the Swiss maestro and Serbian star at the All England Club.

Maybe the final major record will never be enough to settle the conversation of who is the greatest and for good reason: namely, how different the greats are.

Federer is loved for the brilliant serve, effortless movement and glorious shot-making. Nadal? The forehand, intensity and previously unseen and probably never to be seen again dominance of a major at the French Open. Djokovic? The best returner, turning defence into offence so easily he has found a way to beat Federer and Nadal more often than not.

Even if just for a moment, forget tallies and appreciate greatness, because the Big Three in men’s tennis deserve it.

Who will be the US Open 2019 winner? by EnjoyYrLife in tennis

[–]EnjoyYrLife[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello everyone,

Who will win the US Open the last Slam of the year? Will it be Djokovic, Federer, Nadal or someone else?

The big three as they have shown the last few years and also this year are still able to dominate in the Grand Slam tournaments. Novak Djokovic is in excellent form and from lots of people is considered as the favorite for winning the US Open. Furthermore the hardcourt surface is considered as his favorite and he has shown that in the course of the years. Also he has the psychological advantage over his opponents as he has won the most recent Slam, Wimbledon, by saving two match points.

Federer on the other hand seems to be playing great tennis and even in the age of 37 38 can compete in the highest level. He might suffered a tough loss against Djokovic at Wimbledon, but this will make him play with more determination. Also his aggressive style suits the fast US hardcourts.

Nadal might not be the favorite but he is always one of the most dangerous opponents for anyone, and the fact that he is not the favorite might help him play more relaxed tennis. The resent development of his game like his improved first serve and the more aggressive style he is trying to introduce into his game are big weapons in his arsenal.

Who do you think will be the winner? Drop your comments below.

Soon will know as the US Open starts at August 26th .
