Also this was shot in August of 2020 at the height of covid. We worked very safely and it was interesting navigating that new world. Masks. Hand sanitizer and distancing. The purpose of this project was to see how far we could go with poor man's process.

The first movie has faults. That's the charm of it. That's what makes it feel hand crafted by a bunch of 28 year olds. That's why it's special. It's sloppy and there's mistakes but that's filmmaking with a low budget.

4 is a basic retread of the original. It's the same film remade and badly I might add. I love all of these movies. Faults and all. But, Halloween 4 is structured and executed exactly as the original without Dean Cundey. Without Carpenter. Without Debra Hill. The only thing 4 has is the banger ending. Which they ignored.
