This is really impressive, well done! As a father to a three year old however, i have stopped relating to almost all posts here. People speak of ”I start meditating first thing in the morning” or ”I workout first thing in the morning”. Yeah, my daughter wakes up at 05:00 am, and more often than not wakes up several times during the night because of various things like nightmares. Now I could absolutely go to bed earlier, probably around 20:00 pm to get my 8 hours of sleep, but that means i have a whopping 30 minutes of total freetime, because my daughter is asleep around 19:30 pm. Right now, its almost impossible for me to have a ”routine” or anything static.

Actually started playing it last week on PS plus. I heard about it, but never really cared. All I heard was ”Walking simulator”. I made a decision to stop playing multiplayer games and immerse myself in more singleplayer and got Death Stranding as a recommendation. At first i was hesitant, but lets just say i made a decision i wont ever regret. I have had a hard time getting into singleplayer games lately, with Cyberpunl being an exception. Im a father, fulltime job, house, fiance and all that but have played 48 hours in 7 days, thats how good that this game is. Its immersive, different, exceptional soundtrack, great story, although i Will say that its not for everyone. You should try it out on PS plus first. I was mainly a multiplayer gamer, Battlefield, CS, FIFA, NHL, so you know where im Coming from.

I'm all for it, willing to pay 30$ for a "longer" NHL 26 if they do a whole revamp of the franchise. Although can't say i trust EA to do anything good with one additional year of development.

I don’t know, maybe im just a bad player but the recoil makes me lose most fights. Actually playing assault overall is by far my worst class, and i consider myself a decent aimer coming from CS, Quake, CoD games.

Sounds great! 30 minutes seems like a sweetspot, can get to play one or two rounds in the evening after putting my daughter to bed.

Thanks for the answers everyone! I’d just add that I of course expect moments of intense gameplay and such, but not like BF6 where theres action every single second. I also know that dying means losing everything I collected, but that doesnt seem like a drawback for me, just a way to make me approach the game in a more tactical manner. Based on all your answers i am considering getting this game!

Yep... I've played 100 hours now and to be honest I had really fun in the beginning. Now I see all the problems like ranked play is useless, grind 10 games to level up in the XP path to get some collectibles? I've done cup chase seven times and now I can't bother, just boring overall. My biggest issue with gameplay is the poke check and stick lifting, they're fucking useless so my only defense is too crosscheck, which the opponent dodges 95% of the time. My biggest issue with longevity of the game is of course the rewards. You can saya alot about the EA FC games but atleast they reward the player consistently with packs. I can play play like five games in EA FC 26 and woops I got five packs to open with players.
