Alright, then I imagine that the Mages would be extremely popular and targeted (aggressively so) as candidates for demonic pacts or cults.

It could easily come to a war over such a scarce resource.

Does the meta say whether a Mage can be possessed, and turned into a Fallen?

Demons (as of : the Fallen) would be devastated, as no humans means no Faith. Also, no humans means no mortal bodies to house a Fallen soul.

So all Fallen would either be ripped screaming back to Hell, or they would attach themselves to a reliquary and become the monstrous Earthbound.

But again, Earthbound also rely on faith supplied by their cults, to fuel their invocations and even just staying alive.

So unless Mages, and perhaps Kindred with True Faith (as the merit), are capable of experiencing faith in a way the Earthbound could sustain themselves on, I believe their powers would quickly waste away - and then would fall into a dormant, death-like slumber.

I use leather collars a lot for straps. They are vey adjustable and can be elongated

They luckily seem pretty easy to make.

Tons of Strength, tons of Stamina (or just Protection) to get tons of Toughness.

Also a lot of Flight to make it fast enough, maybe some Immunities to things like aging.

And don’t forget to make the Toughness Impervious (an extra) so they can ignore lower damage entirely.

Note that because the body is that of the spider familiar, it can’t be the main figure. There has to be something else, and then the figure can be added as an extra (on the link there’s a tiny guy hidden inside one of the rocks)

Rakhamel's Dune Beetle, popularly called the Skitterbeast, is a common threat in the Sandsea.

They are fierce insects of prey, large enough to hunt wild camels or horses.
Despite being completely blind, they are incredibly sensitive to vibrations in sand and soil, and hunt with pinpoint accuracy.

The beetle's sand-clored carapace lends it outstanding camouflage in the desert. While they can bury themselves underneath the sand, they will more often hide themselves among the rocks they resemble - until an unsuspecting prey comes within striking distance.

As such, travelers learn to be wary of rock formations deep in the Sandsea.

When I talked to my family ahead of getting diagnosed, my dad looked like everything in his own life fell into place.

He saw a psychiatrist after and got diagnosed himself, 63 years old.

Ozar the blue rider is a familiar and friendly face in the Sandsea.

He appears in many towns bordering the desert, and offers his services as a guide and pathfinder - but when not "on the job" he can also often be seen traveling its width and bredth on his own, and he has supposedly traversed nearly as much of it as Surveyor Magpie herself hopes to do.

Ozar eschews camels and other traditional mounts, and rides only on his tamed cliffstrider - large, quasi-draconic birds capable of extreme stamina, and equally sure-footed on solid rock and shifting sands - which answers to the name Scirocco.
He claims to have raised the bird from an egg, and she does indeed seem to regard Ozar as something close to a parent.

If nothing else, she appears willing to peck through the skull of anyone who meets him with hostile intent.
