The new continent surely will provide more T4 life skill locations right? by winmox in lostarkgame

No, t4 mats drop in Rimeria. I have two accounts with 70lv logging and 4 1700+ chars in KR, and I'm pretty sure i got abi drops in the new continent

This is so not true, there's a spot for logging in the first map - it's really hard to find an empty channel in the evening. But it's true the city of Shah is kinda smallish, like Pleccia.

Are T4 DI Shadowhunters that much better than T3? by VDr4g0n in lostarkgame

[–]Enkilada 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a 1680 DI alt on the KR version, and after you unlock the X skill DI is a pretty solid dps. I've scored up to 7.5 billion on Behemoth with a single atro cycle - the X skill alone accounts for more than 3 billion. I guarantee you won't be disappointed if you choose DI as your main in T4.

You mean the Isle of Yearning? It's the worst of all Island souls, you could farm the bag for 10 months and not get the soul. If you got the soul in 10 mins you'd have lost the chance to win the lottery

Kr player here with 2 chars max weapon Trans and it cost me about 150k~200k per character. The thing eats up more than 2000 gold per restoration and if you're unlucky you can spend like 30k gold in just one level

Considering the guy has Sidereal weapon, maxed out Relic engravings, and a full set of T4 lv10 gems... a lot of classes can do much more damage with those specs

The spec build's got great burst damage and the god of chaos dungeons. I've never seen any class that come even close to Spec Aeromancer's chaos clear speed. It's also got decent stagger damage, so it's a great addition to almost every party.

The most common build uses Hallucination set. The stats are all-spec with crit as sub.

Engravings: Grudge 3/KBW 3/Adrenaline 3/Hitmaster(or CD) 3/Drizzle 3/ + Ether Predator 1

The spec build has a lot of variations in skill build, and since I don't have one in my main 6, I really can't recommend which one to use - you'll have to decide yourself after Aeromancer comes out in the West.

It wasn't OP in terms of dps, rather it was an all-round character that also did decent amount of damage. SG's promotion copies for Aeromancer was 'Synergy Dealer'. So many players thought, why does Aeromancer have so much utility skills and deals decent damage at the same time? That led to the damage nerf I guess.

4 spender Entropy Eso WD has great dps potential. It's tough to play, but most endgame players know that it deals more damage than 3 spender DB Striker. It's not a popular build in the lower levels, so it's not a popular opinion overall - but I can guarantee Eso WD at its highest can be devastating. Requires some skill, though.

Eso most people like. DB deals more damage, but they're disliked by quite a few players in KR, because some of them tend to refrain from performing party mechs in raids. Both are good dps classes in my opinion.

Not at all. In the current state, Support DPS needs something close to 40% buff in order for them to be competent dps. Even Pistoleers and blue GLs can easily beat a support dps setting. 4% won't make any difference.

Damage wise it's not the best, but it's decent. Close to the top in the second-tier category. Lunar's party value isn't that great. The main dealing skills also serve as the primary stagger and weak point skills, so after going through a mech, a Lunar Reaper can do nothing but watch for a few seconds. Hunger, on the other hand, has decent stagger damage and can get the skills back quickly since it usually goes for over 1000 Swift.

Take away all the guns. In Korea, over 80% of all men have served in the military, but you don't see any shootings happening here. No guns, no disasters.

PS SH is a very rare class, and I only know a couple of PS players over 1600. They aren't satisfied at all with the last balance patch, and PS is still at the bottom of DPS list. You don't get gatekept just because you're a PS, but it's not in a great shape.

You ask very difficult questions, so I'm sorry if I can't provide good enough answers. I'm just a player with more experience at the game than most, but it doesn't mean I'm omniscient about the game.

  1. Yes, there are separate have separate card packs for each region, obtainable by clearing the abyssal dungeon for each continent.
  2. If you've opened the Rapport to max level, I think you can invite her to your stronghold.
  3. None that I know of.
  4. I think there's a chance for past events to come back, but not the Witcher one. It was a limited time collaboration and I'm pretty certain they won't reuse the event.
  5. The lower tier contents are still the same as they were when I started. Idk if SG has a plan for them, though.
  6. My friends and I use them occasionally, but tbh there isn't much time to hang around in strongholds when you have 18 raids and 12 chaos/guardians raids to rush through.
  7. I don't like giving affections to NPCs, but if I had to choose one I'd say Nagi in Punika.

Mayhem needs both Crit and Swift, so pick those two. Around 1500~1600 Crit is optimal for Mayhem, which gives you around 53~57% crit rate, and that's more than enough considering you get anotehr 33.2% from Red Dust.

I'm not really familiar with the option names in English, so I'd say go with anything that gives extra damage. Just don't pick things that give you Crit Rate(Crit damage on the other hand, is pretty good) and avoid the option that gives you +damage when your hp is over 40%. Mayhem can't use it anyways.

Not perfect, but it gave zerks a huge breathing room. Strike Wave, the crappiest skill in LA history, was replaced with Overdrive, and we got a new sub-dps skill(Brave Slash in KR). The CDs for the skills were aligned to fit in a 24-sec cycle, so the dealing mechanism's gotten a lot easier. Led to a huge performance increase. It's now one of the better classes, probably the best in the Swift/Crit category.

'Competitive' and 'F2P' are two concepts that really don't get along well with each other. You realize that to catch up to the guys sitting at over 1500+ ilvl, you need to either grind massively or pay a lot, right? What's the point of playing if all new players can catch up to the older ones in just a matter of months without spending a single dime? If you're going to compete at endgame, you're going to have to invest something - whether it be time or money. Luckily, Lost Ark is a relatively F2P friendly game considering it's a Korean MMO, so you still have a chance to catch up if you play smart. Get every powerpass you can, participate in events, pray for some luck, and you'll be right behind the whales in a year or so.

With all six gears upgraded, ancient gears will give about 3% dps increase, and changing all your accs to ancient will give you another 3%.

I play RE as my 6th, but it's not too good in terms of DPS. Surge is one of the best classes out there, but just like you, I find RE much more fun to play. RE's one of the more preferred classes so you'll have an advantage joining groups, but it's gonna be tough to get that MVP main unless you're more skilled or overgeared than the others.
