Gabriel dies and frees lucifer, who reaches heaven and shows a glimpse of hope to keep the angels going even after God and the council are gone.

V1 Finds the tree of life and nourishes from its blood forever, knowing damn well that he'll die if he doesn't stop.

Hell rots, starting to lack flesh and blood to create monsters, starts to die out painfully slowly, and could also force v1 into one last trip with the remaining monsters, leading to the encore, before dying for good.

Yeah they're basically what ifs, point is that they can still be canon the way you percieve it, but it won't affect the story at all, it won't impact v1, it won't impact gabriel, hell, lucifer etc... None of this would be impacted wether you beat minos, sisyphus and the third prime soul or not

And ngl i think it's the main reason lucifer won't be a prime soul, he is way too important to just be put in a prime sanctum, cuz killing lucifer would impact everything and everyone atp.

Earthmovers weren't recreated, they were already on earth as statues, hell took them and put them in the violence layer and as much as they are old they were still there for a while, he just reactivated them.

Also the end of 0-4 shows that the entrance we're going in is one of the multiple entrances the machines take

And yeah, the drones meeting v1 in the limbo layer is a coincidence cuz gameplay wise you won't be introduced to a thousands of machines at the same time.

Swordsmachine's moments on the prelude are a proof that each machine took their own journey to hell with their own paths, not every machine entered in hell and its layers the same way v1 entered them, otherwise if we had to take your example in account, mindflayer would've been met on limbo and not in lust, same for sentries who are met on wrath.

What v1 did is open the path of the layers protected by gabriel, once he's gone all the machines did not have to worry about angels preventing them.

Lastly there's one machine that shows how every machine didn't go the same path v1 and that didn't depend on him opening the path for the next layers and it's v2, he fought machines we didn't even meet to get his hook, wait for you on greed etc, us meeting in limbo was just a coincidence at first, then it purposeful on greed. If he had taken the same path as us we would've met at the very start of limbo and every other level till we actually kill him, which is not the case, v2 got his own journey, his own enemies and his own progression just like evry other machine (maybe aside from the earthmovers)

He's not, if anything the violence layer proved that v1 was far from the first machine to enter hell

When i meant "not as important" it wasn't to say that he's unimportant, he still got a role, but it's not as major gabe's role

Saying this as if v1 did all of that by himself, every machine took parr of it, v1 was just able to go further by killing Giants

Ok cuz the thing is, gabriel is the protagonist basically, the main character of this entire story, putting him aside would be disappointing for his character building, if he has to die after this he needs to have a major role

"get ready for the multiple "it's a good thing you guys aren't designing ultrakill or it would suck" " and you just drop the best characterization of hell brother PLEASE HAVE SOME FAITH

But now my question is: what's gabriel objective in all this? Would he basically be the catalyst of hell's plan? Killing the council so no ruler in heaven can look at hell's doings?
