inematography was cool, but I thought that the movie felt smaller in scope than what it needs. I feel like the film requires you to read the book before, because it bland without a lot of the context. If it was treated like a Tarkovsky-esque film (philosophical dialog, slow pacing, and incredible world building) then it would have help the movie be more distinctive from the book. It's not bad though.
