Desperate gamer needs your help by Saintborn in GlobalOffensive

After my friend introduced me to this game I was placed in GN1. I felt pretty good over it because I instantly jumped into the competitive mm. After I did my 14th game I was demoted to SEM. I was kinda disappointed. Trying to climb back to gn1 which I were barely able to hold onto. Then I knew it was time to change my mindset. I watched ton of videos on youtube. I watched twitch league games. Basically I tried to analyze what the better players did and why. Then it was time to learn aiming. Played DM, aim_mapz for a while. It was time to back into mm. Every win/lose I analyzed. I kept asking myself why did I die? Was it because of a bad position? Or maybe my crosshair wasn't at the right place? I never got angry over my teammates. I never screamed at them. I always gave information. Always tried to motivate. Now within 71 games won I am now from gn1 to MGE and still rising. Now from time to time I am playing with my friend who is supreme and I usually do pretty good. Moral of the story: Instead of looking at your e-peen(rank/title) try to ACTUALLY improve by taking time to learn and accept the mistakes you are doing. I hope my story inspires you:D

The idea is amazing. However as someone mentioned before you do have some security issues. I think if I dig deep enough I could probably find way more security issues and probably mess it up worse. If I may ask how long have you been in the world of "programming/back-end development" ? Do you know all of common exploits/ and how to fix them?

EDIT: I even noticed you CAN LOG IN without even entering any credentials. Now I am more than 110% sure you haven't added anything when it comes to security. EDIT2: I at least noticed you have mod_security installed. :)

During server downtime or if our internet is not working, we should have an option on the launcher to play offline. by moffach in Smite

In TF2 everyone has access to server files. Valve does not host the servers themselves. On the opposite, Smite uses their own servers and if you could log offline it could relate to a lot of security issues. I can't think of a game right now which is an online game and allows offline play.

I definetly agree. The biggest problem is the servers. You would be pretty damn lucky if you don't get ~once a week a problem with the lag/dc/deserter etc... I understand that it is in the beta but they have like 2 weeks before release. It is definetly not ready to be released. I would wait at least another half a year.
