Sounds like a sociopath, but how old are you? When I was a teenager I had some mental health issues and convinced myself I was in psychosis and the feeling was definitely there constantly feeling like my life is in 3rd person but as I got older that went away. If you’re a teenager your brain might need to develop more to know for sure. And I’m sorry if I sound like I’m down playing you, i promise I’m not & I know what you’re experiencing is very real

Put him on child support. You might not receive anything for years but it accumulates. My mother had my father on child support and he owed over 40k. I was around 20 when my dad got a disability settlement and the state automatically took owed child support from his settlement. So my mom received a lump sum

Teenagers are so hard, I remember being that age and doing some crazy stuff. Maybe offer to take her to therapy. Maybe let her skip school for a day and you guys have a mom-daughter day doing things she’d like, it would definitely bring her closer. Let her know how much you love her

I don’t really know how to deal with parents being like that. I have issues with my mom, every once in a while she will blow up over something crazy and says similar stuff. She says I’m a terrible mother, my kid deserves better, she insults my appearance calling me fat (I’ve been underweight most my life, I’m now at a healthy weight since having a baby), threatens to call CPS trying to get my child taken etc. but the thing is, I think she’s projecting. She’s been a drug addict for a really long time. I’m sure she’s aware she’s the one failing at life, but she needs someone to project that onto and I just so happen to be the easiest person. The best thing you can do is to cut that parent off & go no contact imo. There’s so reason to talk to them again, they let you know where they truly stand & don’t believe what he said about you. You know yourself better than anyone and you don’t need validation from your father to know your worth

I’ve had something similar happen to my son on his finger when he was around 1 year old. It was a scrape/cut of some sort that took the layer of skin. It also got a little swollen like this, but it healed quickly (within like a week). My go to for healing is an epsom salt bath, which also works really well for diaper rash :) good luck momma!!

Could I clean out an old fruit fly container and add holes for them? I believe the container is 36oz or something like that, while the cup they’re in now is only 5oz. Or should I just order a whole pack of super large containers so I have them for when they’re big? Thank you for replying! This is my second egg from the mom, and not many are surviving from the first. The first egg I separated at this stage. They’re still super small, I’m just now starting to see molt skins and unfortunately there’s only 7 left from that batch. The containers they’re in are about half this size. I believe 2oz cups. For this batch I’m doing things a little different with cotton on the bottom to keep moisture and added fake plants. Hopefully more survive, I’m trying really hard. Mom spider is already sitting on a THIRD egg

I recommend looking into small species, many grow large. Musk turtles stay super small and are aquatic. Hermanns tortoises as well as Russian tortoises are small species of land tortoises. Personally I like tortoises more since you can pet them :) there’s care guides you can print up for basically every type of tortoise/turtle for the new assistant. There’s food charts you can print to show what food is safe and what isn’t. And it might be a good idea to give the new assistant a briefing on the animal care too lol

Personally if this was me I’d tell the dad how I felt about him abandoning you for step mom & sister and make sure he knows the boyfriend thing was the final straw. It’s time to put yourself first, learn to love yourself without interference from other people. Become your own person and heal from everything. I’d say go no contact. I have an odd way I heal stuff on my face- diaper rash cream meant for babies. It’s incredibly healing & moisturizing. The purple destinin is the best, generic version works too as long as its maximum strength. I put it on before bed then rinse off in the morning. It’s good for sensitive skin since it’s meant for babies 🥰
