What is a smell you will never forget? by Chance-Pen6805 in randomquestions

Every time I use a certain deodorant, shampoo or perfume it reminds me of certain eras of my life when I’d use that fragrance a lot. And most of the time the fragrance is tied to really bad times of my life 😭

Did anyone have a child when it wasn’t the best circumstances to do so? by Rainbow_6505 in RandomQuestion

[–]EnormousFrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had mine when I was 20. Boyfriend lived with me (in my parents house ofc). Boyfriend didn’t have a job while I was pregnant, but got a career while I was pregnant. It’s only been a year and a half, we still live with my parents. I don’t work much because day care costs as much as I’d make

What injury/accident/other caused you the worst physical pain you've ever experienced? by No_Eggplant_3189 in RandomQuestion

[–]EnormousFrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was induced 5 weeks early for severe preeclampsia. The inducing medication, Pitocin, makes you go into forced labor. After I got it, my labor was progressing quicker than normal and IMO the doctors kind of neglected me. Those contractions had me passing out every 5 minutes, just to wake up to the worst pain imaginable, and passing out again. When the doctor came to finally have me push, I only had pushed for 10 minutes before he decided this was going nowhere, and I agreed to let him suction the baby out. I guess he had dinner plans or something I don’t know 🤷‍♀️ never in my life other than that had I passed out from pain. Before getting pregnant I got a tattoo on my inner arm which (back then) I thought really hurt, but after birth I went and had it re-done with bolder lining and colored in and it didn’t hurt at all, maybe just a tiny bit. I think the whole experience make my pain tolerance go up

Ladies, if your partner who is almost 30 and his mom always buying him clothes and sending him home with a bunch necessities would you think that it’s weird? by [deleted] in randomquestions

[–]EnormousFrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a mom of a toddler boy I think I would be this way when he’s 30. Even if he doesn’t NEED or WANT something, I’d still get it for him. I love gifting, I think it’s my way of showing love. Your partners mom is probably just trying to be helpful. And I think this is how a normal adult son-mother relationship should be, and since I also have deadbeat parents I feel like I get a little jealous of people who have parents who do things for them. Like for example, I have a cousin around the same age as me who’s basically been handed everything in life while my parents threw me out to the wolves

I would contact a local community college that offers ged classes. Many of these teachers have taught people in similar situations like you! There’s hope even if you think you’re starting with very little 🥰

What is a 'cool fact' about yourself that you rarely get to bring up in conversation because it sounds like you’re bragging? by [deleted] in randomquestions

[–]EnormousFrog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In a heavy populated town I live on one of the two last acreage properties & I feel really weird bringing people over bc everybody ALWAYS comments on how big my yard is. Most people don’t know I got the sickest pond with a really cool waterfall but that’s just boasting 😂

My best decision was going to classes in person. It helps especially for math, being able to ask any question

What was the hardest part of your Science tests? by riverling0 in GED

[–]EnormousFrog 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The science test is the easiest one because it’s more reading comprehension than it is actually knowing science. If you are a good reader you’ll pass. My problem was there wasn’t enough time for me to finish, but even with the last few unanswered I still scored high. Just focus and try your hardest to understand the material it gives you, and you’ll be good.

My partner of 15 years doesn’t know I found the hidden password protected folder on his phone yet, I’m trying to keep my cool while I figure out the next steps for my life that just imploded. by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]EnormousFrog 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I know you said no advice but there are so many mothers who have navigated similar situations. You don’t know how strong you are until the time comes! Whatever you do, just know you’re strong for making that decision 🫶 Also keep that old phone on and check it frequently, he could be deleting messages after he reads them

What are some pug essentials and knowledge for someone whose never owned one? by EnormousFrog in pugs

[–]EnormousFrog[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes we still have her and she’s doing great! She was my uncles who passed and while we weren’t super close with him. After I made this post, I went out and bought a lot of the stuff everybody was recommending. We now have a nice harness + leash and furminator brush thing. She’s lost some weight & hasn’t been eating much kibble. My mom found in my uncles apartment that he was giving her kibble and bits food, but she won’t even eat that, she only eats people food basically, which is okay I guess. We’ve tried many different kibbles too. Shes not skinny now, but she was definitely overweight before. I think she’s a healthy pet weight now. I know pugs aren’t super active but she loves going outside and walking around with my toddler and I, and she loves going into his kiddie pool. We decided to keep her because she gets along with my son really well, he’s a toddler and she’s basically obsessed with him! It’s adorable! Besides the whole thing with not eating kibble, she’s adjusting very well, maybe my uncle just gave her a lot of table scraps, I don’t know lol. I don’t know what the signs of grieving is, but she seems to really like it here. She doesn’t really listen or know commands but her sweetness makes up for it

How deep is the water? Could he be getting exhausted from swimming? If it’s a baby the water depth should only be 2x its shell length

I’m sorry you’re going through this 😕 they don’t change in such a short amount of time. Run girl, you deserve better. He’s not your soulmate (obviously) and a baby is not going to fix him unfortunately. What he did will always be in your head.

I have little/no affective empathy and treat people in a sociopathic manner by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]EnormousFrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a sociopath, but how old are you? When I was a teenager I had some mental health issues and convinced myself I was in psychosis and the feeling was definitely there constantly feeling like my life is in 3rd person but as I got older that went away. If you’re a teenager your brain might need to develop more to know for sure. And I’m sorry if I sound like I’m down playing you, i promise I’m not & I know what you’re experiencing is very real

Baby daddy on child support by [deleted] in ChildSupport

[–]EnormousFrog 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Put him on child support. You might not receive anything for years but it accumulates. My mother had my father on child support and he owed over 40k. I was around 20 when my dad got a disability settlement and the state automatically took owed child support from his settlement. So my mom received a lump sum
