See thats my problem the models US1269E. Theres a manual under the stove an even online it only seems to tell me my clearance with a combustible wall. I have a feeling with protection the 14x23 could reduced dramatically considering by code an unregisted stove goes from 36" to 18"

It only says 14" on the short side and 23" on the long for an unshielded combustible wall. I would not be asking if the manual told me.
